I just received a small 1-gallon brew kit earlier this week along with a Pumpkin Ale Kit from Northern Brewing. This weekend will be my first crack at home brewing. I can't wait!!!

No brewing, but I will be kegging a pumpkin ale and racking a black IPA to secondary. I also have a gallon of imperial stout sitting on some coffee that I'll bottle (bottled the rest of the batch last week). Busy!

I'm making a really small batch sour ale this weekend.
    Belgian 2 row pale malt
    Vienna Malt
    acid malt
    Willamette 5.5%

I just got some bottle dregs from Westbrook's Big Tasty's Back Door, Bruery's Hottenroth, Stillwater Premium, and Mikkeller's American Style Wild IPA for the starter.

I'll be brewing the braindead IPA that I was posting about earlier this week. Still haven't decided whether I'll grab some hops to try to give it a bit more flavor. An ounce of centennial or cascade with a 15 minute boil might be enough to liven it up a bit, no?

Skipping my homebrew club meeting to brew 5 gallons oatmeal stout (middle of boil), 5 gallons blonde today (done), then 9 gallons of saison tomorrow. Saison will be split three ways (YB Wallonian, YB Saison Blend, YB Sour Saison) pre bottling, then half of each batch will get Brett Trois.

Bottling 9 gallons of berliner (passion fruit, guava and raspberry), a funky pale ale with YB Funktown and a hoppy saison with ECY Saison brasserie today. Busy brew weekend.

I'm going to brew a pumpkin ale tomorrow. I know I'm a little behind on getting this ready for October, but better late than never! I picked up some organic clover honey from Whole Foods to use in it..might be a little tempted to just eat it straight up.

Looking to brew on Sunday shortly after I wake up, have a one gallon Evil Twin Bikini Beer kit. Was thinking of adding peaches, but think I will just stick to the kit since this is only second brew, might add a small amount of citra since I have left over pellets from my first brew/.

I skilled the pumpkin for now and went with an IPA one gallon kit from Midwest. Added in some more melon hops from a Michigan based company. Very excited to try my very first batch in a few weeks!

Brewed up my simple kit last night. The recipe itself isn't anything to write home about, but I was pleased with how much smoother the brewing process went than on my previous tries (this was my third batch). I only boiled the batch for about 10 minutes, just long enough to sterilize my chiller, but I had everything wrapped up in about 2.5 hours. Beats going to bed at 1 AM like I did last time! Even factoring in a full 1-hour boil, I would have had everything finished in a little over 3 hours, which is significantly shorter than the time it took me the first two times I brewed. Progress!

Brewed up a Quad for a club barrel project. Target OG: 1.084 @ 70%, I sparked 12.5 gallons total for a 5 gallon batch and ended up at 1.105! Makes up for those that were under gravity I guess...
