Well, yes it is the barrel aged one and it is from 2+ years ago. I believe it was a brewery only release too but they put some out in distro for some reason. Just funny that I saw it in Whole Foods on Maui of all places.

Not brewery only at all. As a matter of fact it got pretty wide distro and sat on shelves for a while in many places because of the price. I think Millenium, 10, and maybe 11 were brewery only and they stuck around there if my info is correct.

I was recently visiting Austin Texas and made it to Jester King and 512 in the few days I was there. I was excited for the JK "Das Wunderkind" release...but never found a bottle in any area stores. I got to talking with one of the beer associates in an Austin "Whole Foods," who said he was happy to pull a bottle out of the back for me. I also scored a farmhouse Black Metal, thrash Metal, and regular Black Metal. Very excited for all of them to be shared at a tasting soon...

18 dollars a pop I could only get one . Even at that time I recall wishing I could purchase the whole load !!!

I have no idea how someone could drink 32oz of KBS. To me that just screams headache and disgust.

I went into Fermentation Market in Tallahassee, FL last summer. I found all three of Avery Demon Series (Samnel, The Beast, Mephistopheles) for $3.00 dollars a bottle normally $9.00 a bottle. Also found DFH World Wide Stout for $5.50 a bottle. Along with Rogue XS Imperial Porter and XS Old Crustacean in ceramic bottles for $7.50 a bottle. The best thing about all of these beers was that they were aged from 2008. Needless to say my vintage collection grew a lot that day.

My very first day of work at my current store had a single bottle of Tyranena's Benji's Chipotle Porter in their singles door. I almost fainted. That beer is spectacular!

My local Jewel-Osco (Chicago-land grocery store chain) somehow got some bottles of Goose Island's 2011 Lolita. They have a decent craft selection but I would not have expected this -- also, it wasn't ringing up correctly so I only paid $8.99 bottle. Score!

I knew one of my favorite local restaurant bars was getting Foothills Sexual Chocolate. But was amazed to find out they were doing 10oz pours for only $4!!!! Needless to say i put a dent in the barrel they had.

A local gas station has a nice singles selection (decent variety of multiple Smuttynose, Terrapin, Southern Tier, Victory options plus many more) for $9.99 a 6 pack, which is a steal of a deal itself. But today I walked in and they offered a free glass with the purchase of a 6 pack. A mix and match 6 pack of quality beer and a Chimay goblet for under ten bucks is my kinda deal. The same place had Sculpin bombers for $2.99 a couple months ago. Needless to say I stalked up.

I am from Puerto Rico and live in St. Louis now. Right before I moved a small distributor down there started to concentrate on trying to change the beer scene down there. Im happy to see it has started to change. Additionally there is a beer bar down in old San Juan and a microbrewery as well. Check them out if you can. They both are on BA cuz i cant think of their name right now.

Edit: The microbrew is called Old Harbor Brewing Co.

We had old harbor on tap the other night in Isabela. Nice. The local BMC type beer is not so bad either, Magna.

    Thanx for the reply

    Enjoy

Walked into a local shop a few days ago and found a lonely sixer of Firestone Union Jack IPA. I bought it.
