Yo @ASak10 and others, in relation to that GD Belgian Yeti release - I think Belgian Yeti was only ever bombers, right? No 12 oz? So then is a case of bombers 6? I need answers dammit!

I don't recall seeing it in 12 oz. bottles, I was assuming 6 bottles. For the price...hard to beat. I know the Belgian seemed to be a love it/hate it type beer, but I enjoyed it.

For $4 and change a bomber?!?! SOLD.

While it certainly isn't my favorite Yeti style, that's like complaining about having sex with the least attractive Victoria's Secret model.

Belgian Yeti was only in bombers. It was my favorite of the Yetis, too. Luckily the Oatmeal one isn't that far off. I still have one more of their last batch left, but I have no idea how long it's worth keeping. Some RIS's (like the Czar) can hold up for 5+ years while others (like Dark Lord and Expedition) tend to fall apart after 2-3.

Well I was wrong, and GD just replied to someone via Instagram that a case is 12. That's right, folks, 12 bombers of 2 year-old Belgian Yeti for $25.

It might not be that nice to say, but YOU'RE ALL DUMB IF YOU DON'T BUY THIS haha...

Funny enough, I'll be down that way today for a ballgame. I might grab one, but I'm not sure I'd risk a full box of potentially rusty/teriyaki flavored sludge even if the price is right.

Since I already committed, I'll take one for the team and report back, I'll drink one on Thursday. Sounds like they are doing this once a week on Wednesdays until they sell out, no clue how many cases they are selling. Alternatively I'd be willing to split my case with anyone, or hell I'd give you a few bottles....it's $2 a bomber! I'm pretty sure that's what I pay in tax when I buy a pint at the bar.

I'm optimistic they'll taste alright, but if not use it as trade bait and fleece some poor sucker... juuuuust kidding, that'd be fucked up.

I already got a ticket or I'd be down to go halfsies with you. Sorry!

No sweat, I actually bought the ticket thinking it was 6, I don't know if I really need 12 more Yeti bombers to add to my cellar...

They did say it was cellared, so presumably it's been in cold-storage for 2-years, which drastically reduces the chance it's teriyaki sludge. I'll probably get a case if not for myself, as extras for trades.

Cold-storage cellared beer I have a great track record with... basement cellared at 65-70'F is where I get question marks, it's just warm enough that at 2 years you can get an infection from the smallest amount of bacteria

Guys, just grabbed my case. Couldn't have been easier. These are ICE cold so unless they just stuck them in the fridge for no good reason, I'd say they are very well cellared.

    They cellared them on ice?

Haha I doubt it, I just meant more they are VERY cold, colder than just in a fridge it seemed. So I would venture they were well kept and cold since June 2012 (when my case was bottled).
