I really haven't experience this before...and it's hard to talk about in front of you guys. :flushed: I put a bottle of Parabola in the fridge to chill a bit, but after dinner I wasn't..."feeling" it anymore. Didn't want to taint my first Parabola experience. I'll save it for tomorrow and finish the night looking at your beautiful beer and enjoy an Old Fashioned. Cheers!

I've gotta get me some of that Pako's, Bill. Right now it's Torpedo, Hercules and Hoptimum. Listenin' to the great Van Morrison's Back on Top. Philosopher's Stone, indeed.

No shame in that game. KC is pretty good bourbon too. Now that you've talked yourself out of drinking that Parabola tonight, stow it away somewhere forgotten and let it get some age!

From the depths of the fridge....bottled 1/11/11. Still a solid brew.

BA Abominable is really similar to King Henry (IMO), and I actually liked it better than King Henry.

Got one Parabola in the Cellar too...I'm thinking of getting a few more so I don't have to sit on that one bottle and not be able to taste it at different ages.

Good man. I was only able to score 1 bottle and am choosing(woefully) to let it sit. I've got quite a bit of Ten Fidy and Stone IRS to fill the void.

Bohemia Obscura. Not bad. More or less equivalent to your Negra Modelo or other Mexican version of a Dunkel/Vienna lager

2008 J.W. Lees matured in Port casks. This, along with the 09 Calvados version I had earlier in the week, has possibly (Dark Lord) the most sediment I've seen in a beer. Accidentally got it in the glass both times.

    *Deliciously sweet though*
