Theft at Sour'd in September

    Cool story if indeed the beer is returned. I'm watching this thread hoping for a feelgood ending.

    This wasn't the only theft that took place that day. @axeman9182 had his box taken as well.

    Indeed. I had 2 each of the Flaming Fury and Pomegranite Sour in the VIP gift bag that I had received. As the fest was ending/had ended, I put it down on an empty table under the tent so I could help the Carton guys carry stuff back to their car. When I came back, it was gone. I then compounded the problem by, in my drunken frantic searching for it, dropping my other bag and breaking my bottle of Plan Bee Amour :flushed:

    Wow... you must of pissed someone off upstairs...

    That blows though. You were helping someone out and that's how you get repayed. You have some serious Karma coming to you so it'll work out in the end.

    was thinking the same.
    I can imagine that at a fest, a bunch of people are drunk, buying things, someone grabs the wrong box. Ive never done it, but I would guess it happens from time to time.

    whatever the case, getting the beer back is amazing!

    Yeah, in the end it's just a couple bottles of beer. And thanks to my friends I still left with a few bottles of Flaming Fury.

    Well, I'm pretty stunned and can't believe this actually happened. Box arrived at my house today with all the missing beers in question.

    What a fantastic ending to a really messed up story. I have to admit, I got so hammered at Sour'd that I literally had no idea bottles were being sold. However, even being as drunk as I was, I'd never even think of stealing someone's bottles. I guess in this case they were mistakenly taken rather than intentionally stolen. Either way, at least OP got his bottles back and that's the most important thing.

    you never made it over to the CL table between 1 and 2:15pm to get pours of CdC b1, Flaming Fury, Viola, or any of the 3 Barrel Selects? there were signs all over the table listing the 2 bottles for sale... it was kind of hard to miss it while picking up your bag, glass, etc

    Yep, I made it there. And got pours of each. How I didn't realize that bottles were being sold, well, that's between me and the sours :slight_smile:
