People were lining up to get extras right after they got their allotment. There were still bracelets left after they were done giving out bottles.

How quick did they hand out bottles? That seemed quick

My buddy got there at 10:38 (not sure why he waited til then) and said they were sold out, so no luck for me. Since it seems like some got double allotment, any fellow locals who want to share the wealth I'd be down to host a bottle share sometime and throw in some things i have.

Also, can't believe this turned out well. Congrats to all those invovled. Way to stay civil folks.

Well damn. The hype train ruined this one. I was still almost ready to drive up. Damn, damn. Good thing is, I still have $250 that I can pay rent with.

Can't believe how many people used cards. I zipped right through the cash line. Guess people used credit.

So are all the draft checkins of DB Mex Cake a mistake or did that go on too?

Release went awesome overall. Seems like the hype train kept enormous crowds at bay . The group that did show up was friendly and organized. Everybody took their spot in line and stayed there throughout the release. Anybody that tried to move up was calmly told to go to the back of the line by fellow campers and abided. I thought heading down there that I would leave with half an allotment at best. Ended up leaving with two full allotments . Great job by all involved

And yes, people were certainly out there at midnight, if not earlier. I think the fact that Westbrook is located in Mt Pleasant, SC opposed to Tampa, Chicago, etc helps with the crowds too

I'm interested to here how locals were at a 'disadvantage' compared to somebody like me who drove from DC. There were still plenty of wristbands after EVERYBODY had gone through the line once. The sodium levels are high here

That would make a ton of sense. Pay an extra fee and wait a lot longer in a line. It's not like they didn't warn you & atm's are scarce down here.

Maybe I don't understand what goes into making these rarities or how delicious they may be, but why on earth are they $30/bomber?
