Showed up at 11 and this was maybe a quarter of the line. And the bar was half full too. Line started before 9.

Last year I walked right in at 1130. Also CBC tickets sold out yesterday for the night session in an hour and a half.

    What the heck is happening!?

Cheers to everyone that made it out. They had some awesome lunch specials and the staff did a fantastic job as always. Loved pulling that Fou Foune card! Hope the night crowd enjoys,

Armsby Abby was fairly tame today. Not a ton of surprises , great tap list. Bottle selection was good , nothing crazy. Everything ran smoothly.

Armsby was a delight. No line, great food, great beer. The exact opposite of a shitshow.

Walked into Armsby at 3 with no line or ticket, got our pours and enjoyed the toast then had a few more and some great food!

Armsby was great. Very relaxed vibe, got a table after just a short wait. No lines, great staff and very well run by Alec and the crew. Thanks for a great Zwanze day!

On a sidenote, this years release was exceptional. The Mamouche and Iris was tasting amazing as well. That Mamouche. Loved it!

Hill Farmstead was a nice relaxed event. No lines except for Zwanze at 3:00. Everyone got a pour of Zwanze, Iris Grand Cru, Vigneronne, Rose du Gambrinus, Brother Soignee & Nordic Saison.

Once again, thanks to the HF staff for a great event!

Very chill at Novare as always. Cool custom logo'ed stem tulip and generous Florian pours. Good weather out on the deck. Gabrinus pours after and a variety of bottles available. Ate a huge lunch beforehand so can't speak for the menu specials that day. No lines, no waiting, no bullshit - and that's how I like it!

I want to put in a good word for Daniel and the Lord Hobo crew. Obviously, the hype keeps growing. Folks who showed up at 11 expecting to get in for the first pour were probably disappointed, but the first 100+ of us who got in had a fantastic time. The staff kept everything moving, the draft and bottle list were terrific, and the food was up to Hobo's usual high standard despite the craziness. They even had a pretty reasonable system for handing out some of the rarer stuff from the cellar.

Plain to see how important Cantillon and the event is to Daniel, and they have done a really thoughtful job of keeping Zwanze fun even as it could easily have become overwhelming.

I echo these sentiments. I'd also like to thank those who attended. Might have been one of the warmest and most generous group of people I've ever met.

Thumbs up to a fun afternoon at Lord Hobo. It was great to try Fou Foune for the first time. Thumbs down to the group of 10 or so people who cut in behind the one woman in their group who got there early. They screwed over 10 people who got there before them.

Yeah, if I'd change one thing about the event, it would be to have someone hand out numbered tickets to individuals or groups in line at around, say, 10 am. Overall, I'd say the line etiquette was pretty good, but it really is annoying to get there an hour or more early and watch the line in front of you slowly expand.

Appreciated the revised "entry protocol" where they let groups/individuals in one at at time rather than having everyone swarm in at once. They're clearly giving the whole event some careful thought and I expect it to keep getting better.

I was one of those people! But I wasn't that disappointed when I found out the line had started before 9 am. That's not something I'm willing to do. Last year I walked in at 11:30 with no line outside, this thing is getting popular!

How was it at 6? I called up around 4:45 and they said there wasn't a line but they were at capacity. I figured everyone inside at that point wasn't leaving before 6.

Sometimes I'm looking at Hobo's menu and I'm like these prices arent too bad and then I read more and see things like $25 bottles of Fort Point.
