Found the sweet spot is more like 70% FBS and 30% Rubeaus...or, go for the KuBeauS and sub in KBS for the FBS...not a blending fan but this one rocks!

 

I'm still really disappointed Founders won't distribute Kleenex for your tears...

Three more beers hit the taps today.....the start of ArtPrize.

 

I'm sure this is for some random tap takeover in new york or something, but on 9/7 they got keg labels approved for CBS, Blushing Monk, BH, FMB and Sweet Repute. MBG Fall Fest? Prob not......

 

@mjshearer1 can also confirm this, as he inquired with an insider at Founders. They had a few keg collars that weren't approved. Just tying up some loose ends. Of course, it could just be a cover up.

 

Yeah, as far as I was told, it's just a few house keeping items that they needed to get at. Of course, when I saw him at a later point and I told him I only half believed him, he had a shit-eating grin on which made me suspect that, while true, he wasn't telling me the complete story. I try not to bug him too much about it since I don't want to be THAT guy, but it's been gnawing at me.

Regardless, I think that if they busted these out for any MBG fest, it'd be Winter since that's the biggest one.

Woah, Sleeper Cell! Wish I could make it out there just for that, I love that beer. If anyone from the east side is heading out there I'd love to work something out for a growler....

 

I haven't had Sleeper Cell. However, Double Trouble for me = no more griping about Founders taplist.

 

I love Double Trouble, but I think Sleeper Cell is even better. I was blown away when I had it last year.

 

Cool, I'll have to seek it out more actively.

Ugh! Figures- I just had two growlers from my husband stopping by earlier this week and pickings were SLIM.

 

I stopped in mid-afternoon on Saturday to grab a growler of Sleeper Cell and they were out. Oddly the tap list updated at 1pm and again at 8pm both had it listed, but the staffer I spoke to said they should have it again next weekend. One of my favorites from Founders.

 

I'm also a little disappointed there aren't more taproot only brews when I visit. Maybe I'm crazy, but I swear there were way more unique brews when I first started going years ago.
