I went to one of my bottle shops this weekend, I haven't been there for about a month or two. They Had Maine Beer Co.'s Mo, Zoe, King Titus, Peeper, and Red Wheelbarrow, they never had anything from them the last time I was there. I wasn't aware and don't remember ever hearing about them distributing to SC, did this just happen recently or do they just have limited distribution so SC?

Started distributing to SC in the late Spring or early Summer, I believe. I stopped in GVL last time I passed through and picked some up. I believe that was May.

Ahh ok, I don't know how I missed out on hearing about them coming to SC. I'm also surprised they went to SC before NC, but I live right on the border so it doesn't make much difference I guess.

It was in Upstate S.C., bottles didn't last long. It feels like there have only been 2 shipments from Maine Beer Co, to the Upstate so far, though I may be wrong.

gotcha. I've seen everything you've listed but Lunch. Personally, I've found Lunch to be a bit overrated anyway, but still good. Dinner on the other hand...

Yeah, I've had a few potential trade partners yell at me, when they saw Maine show up in S.C., for Dinner alone. Still no luck on that one, yet...

How long is Lunch released? Doesn't say on their site that I could see and just says rotating here.

Honestly, I have no idea. I'm not an IPA person, so I don't even know if they are year-rounds, or what. The next Maine Beer Co beer I'll buy for myself, will definitely be Mean Old Tom, though...

Total Wine and Green's in Greenville, SC had a couple bottles each about a month ago. Pretty sure I may have gotten the last of it..

I'd like to add, Maine Beer Co. seems to have some very good customer service. I just sent them an email last night and have already received a very informative reply. Lunch is brewed year around but due to supply and demand they have trouble getting out of the new England area, but they hope to be sending more this way soon.

Its nice seeing a brewery that makes good beer but also has very good customer service.

I have a question, I've been to a few stores in SC that carried MBC beers and they are always old (3+ months).
Does MBC ship them old (1 month or so), or are they shelf turds down there? Or have I somehow stopped in the some of the worst shops in SC?

Not sure why everyone is so crazy about their good (not great), over-priced beers. Let's be honest, they belong in 6-packs for the same exact price as they charge for a 500 mL.

Last batch of Maine beers hit the shelves in SC about 4 weeks past their bottling date. I've been wondering about the delay myself.
