Why not just follow the OP's guidelines? Easy enough and quite a selection to chose from. Disappointed in the old timers. This is a somewhat original Midwest forum thread and deserved some consideration instead of thread shitting. Just sit a couple threads out every once an awhile if you have nothing positive to contribute.

This is a great thread, and very topical--I'm going back to DC to visit friends in a few weeks and wanted to bring an assortment of some of the best MN has to offer. I'll probably bring 4-6 beers, I strongly prefer traveling with cans, and I don't want more than one from any brewery. Here's what I'm thinking so far:

Furious
Farm Girl
Schell Arminius (do they make anything else in cans)?

Any other currently-available cans I should include?

 

I should mention I don't like Day Tripper. Midnight Ryder might be an option, but it's not my favorite either.

 

You should really bring Day Tripper for them unless you know they will hate it. You don't have to drink it, just get some tasty local stuff from there to drink instead.

Lots more local and Minnesota cans that I'm forgetting. Burning Brothers, Third Street (not sure what sort of national distribution they have, but it's a solid lineup). Bent Paddle...

Just canned from Bauhaus is Wagonparty its a CA Common thought it was very good

 

I liked that one, too, but it was actually my least favorite of the Bauhaus beers I tried (I did the flight). If they have the Wonderstuff or Stargrazer available in cans within the next couple of weeks, I'll definitely include one or the other.
