Yeah Erie gets a ton of Founders for some reason. It's rather shocking, but a good problem to have when I need to go out and get KBS (too bad they charge per bottle and it's annoying) but that sounds great to me!!! I can't wait.

I looked back cause I figured I MUST have missed it happening... this was a while ago but I don't think anyone has beaten the Padres 3-2 since May.

well... since talking about stuff makes it happen...

I haven't seen the Brewers score 1 run in every one of their last 5 games yet... I figured there must be some mistake but then realized the last 5 games haven't been played yet... no playoffs... no biggie... let's tank!

I don't know if the baseball season is just too long, football season started or just that I have no shot to win anything but man I was over baseball a few weeks ago. Maybe it's also my Phils had no shot at anything. Well the Phils did find a way to win me beer though! Thank you @Syracuse12 your Mets bested my Phils for a better record so I won for my Phils stinking!

Yeah, this may sound like a humble brag, but there's nothing more spiritually exhausting than going into October in a pennant race. October, if you make it there, is full of anxiety, and the Tigers like to get started early!

I like having one day a week to sit and watch TV/drink beer all day. Baseball does not provide that.

Somehow the Mets are in 2nd place in the division. At least our silly bet gave me a reason to watch baseball...well, follow baseball, until the last week of the season. I will say what Mets fans have been saying for decades, "Next year." This year, I might actually mean it. Unless of course the team fires another pregnant unwed mother.

Agree and disagree... disagree in the fact that I love postseason baseball, no matter whether my team is in it or not, and this year offers some new, compelling storylines along with the usual down to the wire drama. But I most certainly, wholeheartedly agree that I am over watching the Phils this year- glad they both won us beer though!

And... I hopefully have seen the last of this stupid face in the red pinstripes... Good Lord I loathe him.

I'm a football and hockey guy, But I do watch my home team Phils ( when they have a half decent team) but if there out I could care less about the rest of the season. If it wasn't for this bif I wouldn't of watched and differently not of kept scurrying through espn for scores. Congrats for the soon to be winners. It was fun though, will do again next season.

    Cheers all!

    Yup.

Since my Ranger stunk this year I guess the only thing I can look forward to this baseball season is #buctober I mean I had to follow them all year for this, so it's not bandwagon jumping right???? Plus both of my daughter's first Pirates game were Gerrit Cole starts (including is MLB debut)

The opportunity still exists to roll this into the playoffs... back before the Brewers decided to implode I was really looking forward to it... I think it would be cool to do a H2H series BIF. Each game counts as 22oz. So if you're team sweeps the 5 game Divisional Series you'd get 66oz from whoever's team you're playing. Alternatively if you go 3-2 the loser would only send 22oz. Unless an Angel In The Outfieldesque miracle happens, my Brewers are out of the running for this but that doesn't mean the 10 of you in can't rock it out.

I'm not betting on my Giants! Also, can you just lose so we can have our playoff spot? God knows we can't get in on our own merits.

    Kthnx.

I think I am more focused on football now, but I could probably be convinced to roll it

The last time the last game of the season meant something for the Tigers was 2006. We made it to the series, so hopefully we can repeat that run this year.

    Minus the outcome, of course.
