several times but the most memorable was a bomber of Consencration right next door to a house club. I was supposed to share it but the other 3 people with me wouldnt drink it. So I took it down and went to the club. Whoa. Heartburn. I was drinking milk at the club.

By "ever" does the OP mean "routinely"? Because yes, then. :flushed:

Yes I wouldn't dare dream of sharing Love Child #4. I am drinking Le Terroir tonight and would hate having to spilt the bottle.

As I read this thread, I'm polishing off a growler of La Folie: it can be done, but only enjoyably with the help of antacids.
Having said that: I truly believe that sours have an innate power to limit over-imbibing- if you are fortunate to have an unlimited supply, you seldom drink more than a couple glasses in a sitting.

    Oh, to realize that dream!

To each his own, but SitR with Kumquats and Oude Tart w/ Cherries are two of the smoothest things ever I think. I could hit them all night long...

All the time. My wife doesn't drink so I typically drink solo.

Quite often... but not all sours are create equal.
That being said, a solo bottle of SitR is gonna be a face melter, a belly burner, and a butt puckerer...

Drank a Green Man Maceo and then a Bruery Filmishmish all by my lonesome on Sunday while watching football. The Maceo was amazing. Filmishmish was nice too.

I love sour beer but the heartburn absolutely murders me. Most of the stuff from overseas doesn't seem to be that bad, but the vinegar bombs from the US destroy me so I can only do about an 8oz pour before its too much.

yeah, I like sours, but really only a snifters worth. I'd be toast after much more than that.

The local bottle shop has started selling 64 oz growlers and I'm kinda hesitant to buy one to drink solo due to the fact that once opened it pretty much has to be consumed in it's entirety. So similar problem here...
