Heading to Atlanta 9/22

    I'm heading down to Atlanta for work tomorrow and staying through Tuesday evening. I will be without a car, but could take a taxi if needed. Are there any sports within a reasonable distance from the Marriott Atlanta Buckethead on Lenox Road? I looked at places on here, but am not familiar with roads and didn't want to map out all locations.

    If there are any places to check out, any local gems I should be looking to try while I'm visiting?

    Green's liquors on Buford Hwy, and Tower Wine and Spirits on Piedmont are going to be your best options for proximity, and will have as good a selection as other stores. If you decide you are willing to go further, Brick store pub in Decatur, or The Porter in Little 5 Points are musts.

    Greens on Buford is probably the best place to get beer, after that I would hit up Brick Store, or even Taco Mac for beer/food. The Porter is good as well.

    No flights per se. I believe they have done smaller pours for special events in the past though.

    On certain beers they do offer a 4oz pour if it's pricey.

    Yah, you can ask for half pours. I've never been turned down when asking for one.
