That was going to be my question as well haha. Or does she even like beer? If she's a fellow beer nerd, then absolutely fair play. Otherwise if you're still up for drinking at the end of what I imagine will be a fairly long and alcohol-heavy day/evening, a bottle of champagne probably does the trick.

No offense to OP (and like I said, if his wife-to-be is also a beer nerd it's a totally different story), but it seems there's a lot of people on BA for whom beer is always first and foremost, even when we're talking marriage, first kid etc. Unless it's a joint hobby, I'd say those are a couple of occasions to forget about the beer.

My wife and I just toasted to Prairie Bomb! as our first drink a couple weeks ago. Was kind of awesome in a crystal champagne glass.

Most folks would crack a bottle of champangne or wine before consummating their contract. Therefore since obviously you are a beer lover, the closest beer to champangne would be a nice sour from someone like cantillion; maybe a
Fou' Foune, or Lou Pepe - Kriek! Always sure to impress the ladies as they ususally like fruity type drinks.

A friend of mine bought Utopias for his wedding night. Expensive as all hell, but if there ever was a once in a lifetime (usually) opportunity...

Luckily for me, he and his wife didn't finish it; and I got to try some a couple years later. That is the beauty of Utopias: it lasts as long as a liqueur would.

First off, congratulations! As long as your soon-to-be wife is into beer like you are, then you know what she likes. I would suggest something you guys have shared on a special occasion in the past and then maybe a rare version of that type to remember on the big day. Don't overthink it though.....just enjoy the day! Cheers!

She is a beer lover. Her favorites are really hoppy IPAs. But really she will drink most beers besides AALs.

We are getting married in the afternoon and everything will be over around 5PM, so there will be a fairly long after party, and she seemed very interested in having a brew that paid homage to our special day. I think I am going to try to trade for a bottle of "Better Half." It seems like it would be perfect especially for December in MA.

Drink sir, is a great provoker of three things….nose painting, sleep and urine. Lechery, sir, it provokes, and unprovokes; it provokes the desire but takes away the performance.

It'll be easier to trade for a bottle of COAST Old Nuptial than Founders Better Half.

Eisenacher Helles was my wedding night beer. Doubt you'll be able to get that.
