Visiting my sister in Northern Virginia and needed beer. Went to Safeway and spied Lagunitas Little Sumpin' at good price. At checkout I realize it's actually Sumpin' EXTRA! Didn't even know there was a third Little Sumpin' (shame on me). Naturally it's fabulous. So ... what's your favorite Sumpin'? The year-round version, the Extra!, or the Wild? Why your choice?

Love the regular, but I thought the Extra was phenomenal too. Tossup between the two for me. I'm meh about the Wild. Not too big on Belgian IPAs as a whole.

EXTRA for sure, one of the best IPAs I've had this year.

When it comes to Sumpin', it's gotta be WILD. I cannot wait to get my hands on a case this year...when, oh when will it arrive in NJ?!

I'd have to go with Extra. Its such a great beer, and at a really good price. The regular is awesome too. I'm not a fan for the most part of that Belgian yeast funk that's found in many Belgian style beers, so Wild didn't do much for me. I can see why people would like it, it was well crafted, just not my thing.

The Extra is my favorite when it's out, the Wild is my favorite when it's out, and the regular is my favorite when neither are out.

Good to see I'm not the only one who has an issue with the Belgian yeast. I've always felt I was some sort of heathen for not liking it. Interestingly I never detected it in the Wild. Regardless, the Extra! (have to include the !) just blew me away. Might even like it as much as my all-time fave, the Hop Stoopid.

My favorite has been Extra!, although my one complaint is that the only batch that showed up at all stores around me were from Julian date 167, and they stayed on shelves up until now so far. They were great when they first arrived at the beginning of July, but now (having been bottled mid June) at the end of September are barely drinkable at best..
