    Thanks for the heads up!

One of my favorite breweries as well! He will be getting a lot of beers from these folks for sure!

I thought @Ncpogs (I assume he's the target) knew when he liked my post yesterday.

We do also get Maine Brewing out by me. There are anywhere from two to for or five varieties on the shelf depending on the store, but I would guess that the distro of Maine is much more limited. I've never seen Lunch or Dinner, mostly Mo, Peeper, King Titus, Red Wheelbarrow...

Their site says that they are distributed through Windy City brewing, so they are very likely limited to the greater chicagoland (suburbs) area.

    Hope this helps.

Don't forget Dinner is brewery only! I've actually never seen Lunch either, one of my biggest wants from them, and if you've never had it, you should try to track down Mean Old Tom, great stout.

I didn't know if he did that because he had figured it out or if he liked it because of the commnet about your "sleuthing abilities" and how you tracked down the deadbeat from the first round.

Speaking of that, I really wish there was a way to change out the name of the starter of this thread. It bugs me everytime I go into the Beer it Forward folder and see his avatar and name as the starter of something that has turned out this awesome.

Actually guys, I'm just a "like" *****. I find a lot of little things amusing and want to show my appreciate since you can't hear my Dr. Hippert like chuckle... @rspauldi I thought I had a good shot at it being me, but it was just more wishful thinking than anything lol.

@mbmiche has already provided most of the detail, but to echo his response, we do see quite a bit of the more common Allagash and Maine stuff in rotation. I'm about 20 minutes west of the city and all of the local Binnys (biggest liquor retail in the Chicagoland area) have more of the main stays available on the shelves. But if you've landed brewery only things like Needles or Coolships stuff, that's a different story

Yeah, I've never had Dinner. Lunch is harder to find than any of their other stuff, but I think that is primarily because it disappears off the shelves very quickly. Next time I see it around, I will try and buy some as part of a LICC ME, since it seems to be in high demand.

And for what it's worth, Another One tastes pretty similar to Lunch. And Mo (their Pale Ale) is up there too.

And we have touch down in Illinois.

@Ncpogs needs to take a pause from his 'Like *****' activities and post up some pr0n because I'm a pr0n *****.

The box is sitting here and I am so tempted to open it right now. But I've got this report I need to finish. Don't know if I should take my lunch break to open it or wait until I get home... Don't know when to open my beer mail #firstworldproblems

    NBO - Sixterhood trip #3

If you would like to be in consideration to be the recipient of a 6-shipper box filled with Chi brewed goodies (and possibly some wants or just other awesome shit), please BM me your shipping address. If you would prefer to skip this trip and sign up for a future trip, don't send me your address and wait for the next person to post their NBO to sign up.

Signup period ends at 10pm Saturday Sept 27th. At that time I will randomly select the recipient and start posting hints as to who it is. Box will be shipped on Monday or Tuesday.

    Trip #1 - Maryland --> Texas (complete)
    Trip #2 - Texas --> Illinois (complete)
    Trip #3 - Illinois --> ???

    See official rules below....

    ----------------------------------------------
    How Sixterhood works:

    1) The current holder of the Sixterhood box will make a post in the Locals BIF thread saying that the signup period for the next Trip is open and will be open for 2 or 3 days. Anyone that would like to be a potential target for the box would send their address information in a BM to the current holder of the box. To be eligible the person must have:
    a) participated in Locals BIF rounds 1, 2 (summer 6'er), OR 3 (current round)
    b) have not already received the Sixterhood box.

    2) After the signup period is over, the current holder will randomly pick the next lucky recipient of the Sixterhood box. They will not announce this person nor the number of people that signed up, but instead will start posting hints as to where the box is going (BIF style hints). If no one signs up to be the next recipient then, as the original founder, heystevec will be the final recipient (hopefully without him knowing that it is coming to him).

    3) The holder of the Sixterhood box will fill the box with high quality local bottles or wants and ship it to the target. Make it a kickass box, but with this group of people I know we won't have to worry about that. Also, add the targets name to the tracking board in the box and add any 'decorations' that you wish to help commemorate the box's visit to your state.

    4) Once the box is received by the target, they will post the pr0n for all to enjoy.

    5) Start over at #1

You do not have to enter every signup period. You can pick and choose when you want to be in consideration to be the next recipient. This would be nice if the current holder of the box is from your own state or an adjoining state or if you are going to be out of town for a while or whatever. Jump in and out as you please.

*Edit - If the Bears beat the Packers on Sunday, this box is going to go from being great, to pretty damn amazing, you have my promise.

Hello Fed Ex my old friend
I've come to ship with you again
Bubble wrap I've used for packing
    Newspaper too, adroitly stacking
And I'm using bags so no leaks or stain
    Will remain
Box must have the sound of silence
    On Monday I walked alone
Narrow streets to Fed Ex store
Neath the awning of my strip mall
I held it tight in case I would fall
The bottles must not be seen in light
    I went at night
And sent my box in silence
And it the Fed Ex store I saw
    Ten thousand boxes maybe more
    People throwing, without watching
    People asking, whatcha sending?
    And I was scared
    Was my box being silent?
Fools said I you do not know
There's beer in that box packed just so
Wrapped in bubbles I might teach you
I stuffed it good so it will reach you
But my words like foamy lacing fell
And in my box was silence
And I traded, packed and weighed
To the packing God I prayed
And the beer swished out it's warning
The Fed Ex dude was not informing
And the sign said, That beer should never ever have been shipped within our trucks
    I give no fucks
And traded, because my box had silence

Got this great box from @Mikexw today. I love the shirt and can't wait to see how many people figure it out. I also am excited for some homebrew! Thanks Mike!
