It's worth shipping to you just for the poetry. The homebrew MAY be a little overcarbonated, but if you let it sit for 5 minutes you should be fine. I'm glad the growlers survived the trip - you could probably tell from my packing job that I was concerned.

 

Speaking of The Sounds of Silence, @Lehighace06 asked me to let you all know that he apparently did something wrong (not sure what) and is "in timeout" -- 2 weeks without posting in threads or creating new conversations. I assume he can still be contacted privately.

 

Gentleman, I believe some **** is in order, and might I say @rspauldi absolutely killed this round of the Sixterhood! I'll take this BIF over a straight trade any day now. The unknown and mysteries of what lies waiting within is awesome. It was like Christmas day unwrapping each of these.

Jester King - Provenance Tangerines & Clementines - Why not send variants? I may have to do a side by side with these now...
Southern Star - Black Crack - Barrel Aged version of Buried Hatchet (Definitely doing a side by side on these)
Southern Star - Buried Hatchet Stout (See above!)

So excited for this box and now I cannot wait to make some one else feel as excited and happy as I was to open this Sixterhood box.

No apparently a whole bunch of them over in SWTFYW got a bit more unruly than they like. He was hit with 2 weeks, others got longer, I think. I'm not sure if "time out" is an offical term or not. He can still participate in BM's, just can't create any.

 

Yeah a mod over there basically asked to clean it up a little. I'm not offended by much but I can see where some of that stuff was offensive to people.

 

That box, the actually box itself, looks familiar.

FYI for everyone -- I started working on targets (and actually had about 25 out of 34 assigned before I hit a dead end and couldn't match everybody up). However -- we just added a 35th member -- @PassMeAZima -- so with any luck throwing him in there will open things up enough that I can speed up the process and finish.

I have some family commitments the next few days, but the current plan is that on Sunday I drink beer, watch football, and finish assigning targets.

 

Is there any way that when you post the " final master list of participants" we could add everyones untappd name so we can stalk our targets (in the least creepy way of course)? We would obviously have to send them to you.

 

Sure. There are two ways of doing that. One is that everybody messages me their untappd name and I pass it on to their sender. That means a little extra work for me, but at this point I am so deep that won't matter. The other way is that people can just post them here -- that theoretically saves me a little effort, but in reality I will put it into the Master Spreadsheet anyway. And that way everybody knows everybody else -- not sure if that is good or bad.

And for what it's worth, I bet at least half of us have the same name in both places, and if not I think you MIGHT be able to search by name.

And don't worry about stalking being creeping. If you knew what I did in Round 1...
