Have you heard whether it would be strictly Barrelworks or a general FW club? I'd actually prefer the latter, for a mix of sour and non-sour beers (members-only PNC release, anyone? Bottled Parabajava?). Although with the Bruery splitting their society up, that may be going against current trends. Either way, I'd join in a heartbeat. I'm getting a little tired of every other brewery trying to start a $300 club, but there's no way I could stop myself from joining this one.

If FW/BW created some sort of society/club where I was guaranteed access to 4-6 bottles of every release, including Parabola/Sucaba/Anniversary, etc. - I'd never need to set foot in a bottle shop again except to grab some IPA's here and there. I get that people are tired of every brewery starting up some club, but I love it - I can't handle the hunt anymore and am willing to pay for the convenience these clubs provide, at least for now.

I would definitely be interested in Bottleworks-only club. I could just wait for 2-3 liberation and then pick up all my bottles. Regarding regular FW releases, I'm fine with picking them up at the store, unless there would be some super-special variants available, then of course, count me in on that as well

If they did do a club, I'd hope it wouldn't just be for guaranteed access to their normal stuff. I would hope they'd use it to release bottles of stuff that isn't brewed in the 300-500 case range that they seem to like for their liberations. I would be pretty damn happy to have had a 1-2 bottles of Saucerful o' Secrets, Bzar Beans, or other beers that have only seen taps.

mmm...Bzar beans variants!!... one can dream

I would sign up for sure if barrelworks gets something going and it would be perfect because I cant make most liberations because of work schedules and what not

yeah, if they made a club, I would toss money at them left and right. Have yet to miss a Barrelworks release and I fear that I will with how scheduling is. But man have I made it my mission to put it first when scheduled ahead of time.

That I didn't hear...the topic was solely about Barrelworks beers at the time. I wouldn't think it would include the Proprietors stuff since the production volume and distro is so large on those. I would think it would be for the 600 case or less stuff...preferably the "less" stuff

Sipping a bottled Agrestic right now. Soooo good! Amazing how much better it is in a bottle than draft.

If I could afford it I would totally be down with a membership. BTW thought on velvet merkin?

If they were to include Proprietor's stuff they would need to bottle beers that are currently draft-only as club exclusives or near-exclusives. There would be no point in just including regular Parabola/Sucaba/Merkin/Monkee, since none of them are that hard to get, at least here in California.

I'd prefer to see them offer that sort of thing as a package along with the Barrelworks beers, but as I said I'd still be all over a Barrelworks-only club. And ideally, I'd like to see them allow us to choose to pick up allotments in Buellton or Paso.

I haven't opened any of my Agrestic bottles yet, but you're right about FV being even better from the bottle. And it was fantastic on draft to begin with.

Hash tag was kriekybones15 so I guess its a 2015 release. Surprised they'd start talking about it already when supposedly Reginald Brett and the pumpkin beer are due in November.

I was under the impression Sloambic and the pumpkin beer were novembers release not reginald brett.
