LNBA Saturday 6/9

Already too gone to start taking pictures but I broke into the bottle of Saison Dupont I had waiting. First time having the Dupont and it's only growing my love for Saisons.

 

About to open a Son of a Peach and the Pac-Bradley fight should be starting shortly.

i cleaned all day today and spread it out throughout the day...having saison (shared with the wife) to celebrate our immaculate home and then the lambic was shared with the in-laws pre dinner...brett beer as the LNBA started up, then some Rye magic and now the eisbock - hot dog that IS a lot of beer. mission accomplished...or should i say mission almost accomplished.

 

Probably just lighting, plus it looks like you had some nice natural light there.

 

Finishing the night with a Red Racer IPA. A bit expensive for a regular ipa (It's like 8 or 9 bucks for a 4pk of 12oz cans. Ouch), but it's pretty good nonetheless. Tastes malty and piney. Kinda reminds me of Modus Hoperandi (I swear the fact that they both come in cans has nothing to do with the comparison).

 

puppets was the first CD i owned. i always loved Orion and the solo to the title track still moves me.

in a world of bass players who started on guitar but their band needed a bassist or whatever other reason that they made the transition...this is the reason that i started on bass instead of guitar...



although my tastes in music have evolved and expanded, i gotta give it up to my first musical hero...cliff. at 13 i had finally saved up the dough to buy a guitar but decided instead to get a bass because cliff. he changed my perception on what a bass could do...and my musical interests back then were pretty narrow. really glad i took the route i did.

But...it was good I only got that glass worth of it bc my "drinking partner" liked it a lot. Plus her friend is here and she enjoyed it as well. Not too much cherry, was a bit disappointed by that but it was still good nonetheless.
