I'm most likely going to fall into that category of impatient shipper. I've been saving bottles (not going to be hurt by aging) for weeks/months now. Can't wait to destroy that porch.

And speaking of porch bombs, the Sixterhood box will be hitting the road again after it's short layover in IL with a date of Thursday.

So of the 5 contributions that did not clear immediately, one was not from a person's name so I'm guessing that's why it got held up, but it has gone through. The other 4 all used the acronym "BIF" in the notes. One of those has been "reversed", and Vinithing got the above message. One of you actually put Beer Advocate in the notes.... this is why we can't have nice things! Seriously though, if any of you get charges reversed, either a) don't worry about it, we've gotten plenty contributed anyway; or b) if you still want to do your part anyway, just BM me and we'll figure it out.

Thanks again for taking the time to coordinate all of this and being patient with some of us who provided too much detail in our subject line.

Normally when my friends write me checks they always put "Gay ****" or "Boner Pills" in the subject line. I guess that would have been better than BIF in this case. And yes, my friends are still very immature even at the ripe age of 30...

 

My note wasn't too far from that...

I stand corrected, I just double checked and the one that was "not from a person's name" did in fact reference Locals BIF, and that one cleared through.

So with one cleared and one reversed, I have no idea what's going on; but I can say with a decent level of certainty that the acronym "BIF" is what is messing things up.

I'm very curious what they think BIF could mean......

Obviously these people at PayPal are a bunch of (insert term here that is not specifically offensive to anyone).

Maybe my brain is just shot, but I thought that was absolutely hysterical.

 

If my target wants any Colorado goods, please update you wants appropriately... you may or may not already have several on your wants list... but if there any others, let me know....

 

OK -- update -- I had two (minor) screwups in the targets, and sent new info to the senders; I haven't gotten confirmations back from everybody but it looks like there will be no sender/target pairs from states that border each other.

 

Same line of questioning, do any senders have their target as their sender?

 

Or even further, do any senders have themselves as a target?

 

Hint # 1- Shipping East.

 

... and I'm down to 26 possible targets already...
