Framboise For A Cure 2014

Who knows how they'll do it this year. Last year they had an allocation in the morning, which sold out AFAIK, and then they sold some more bottles that evening (and I snagged some of them at that second sale). They throttled the sales throughout the week to make them last a bit longer.

 

I'm planning on getting there Friday morning as soon as they open. Hopefully I can grab a few bottles.

 

Any updated release info?

 

I want to go up tomorrow but I can find any official info. Anyone find anything anywhere?

 

No info yet...i assume Russian River won't post anything until right before opening tmw.

 

Their Facebook page said stay tuned for details and the October 1st date....

 

Not trying to spread false info, but I heard it's going to be a 6 bottle limit this year. I really don't know if my friend was BSing me or not. I guess we will find out tomorrow morning.

 

Well they just posted on FB, 4 per person.

 

And they're allocating a certain number of bottles every day for the first two weeks of October. I like this system, should make it a bit less stressful for everyone.

 

Wow, did not expect they would limit like this. Its good for the greater beer community, but not for my friends who thought I was bringing them bottles!

 

It was 6 last year the first few days then cut to 3.

Edit: just sayin' any expectation that was above 6 bottles was misguided.

I'll be heading out Friday night and driving straight there and getting in line for opening on Saturday!

 

Driving in from Sacramento tomorrow, will arrive by 4PM. Any thoughts on whether allocations will be in play at that time?

 

Limit 4 for 2 weeks of distro. NO clue how much they've made and if it'll last into the late afternoon.

My guess would be on M-Th, maybe a decent chance at 4pm. On F,Sat,Sun, No.

 

They have a nice line going right now.

 

how far down the street? Granted there's ALWAYS a line to get in even when there's nothing special going on...

 

Can someone Tell me what the Limit is? I have been hearing a lot of different things.

Heard from a buddy who got there at 10.30am and said there were over a hundred people ahead of him. Hopefully that is just first-day craziness, as I was planning on going for opening tomorrow...
