    I haven't looked through all the tap takeovers and whatnot, but I did notice that Hops and Pie (Highlands area) is having a nice list tomorrow (Wed) night. Specifically, Boneyard is going to be there. If you want to try some of the best IPAs in the country (a full pint rather than one oz as they will be at GABF as well), I highly recommend going. Breakside is also a small Oregon brewery that makes damn good beer.

    Here's the full tap takeover list...

    * Crooked Stave
    * Prairie
    * Perennial
    * Almanac
    * Breakside
    * Stillwater
    * Evil Twin
    * Jester King
    * Westbrook
    * Boneyard
    * 10 Barrel
    * Oakshire

    Just to clarify a bit, it's all of the Crooked Stave Artisans (CS's distro line) tap takeover, and it starts for lunch at 11:30am, not in the evening.

    That isn't the tough part, already muling out bottles to CO from Alpine, Belching Beaver, and a few others that never see distribution. Sadly I think the # of bottles I want to bring back would far exceed the amount I am bringing out. I might need to find bottle shippers and a FedEX storefront.

    Ya, I'm not sure how it works. I can't imagine Rock Bottom would close just for that

    From what I read (can't recall where), its a free event for the public to watch. The article said that they occasionally hand out samples for the public to try. It doesn't sound like a full-on tasting event of all the beers, but I'm still considering going.

    After a long night/day of drinking you're going to need something greasy to soak up the beer. Put on some pants with an elastic waste and head to Denver Biscuit Company http://www.denbisco.com/ The food was incredible and they had Bloody Mary's made with Left Hand Milk Stout.
