I liked Wowee Zowee. I wasn't expecting a lot but it is a solid beer.

 

My wife wears those Wowee Zowee shorts, they do make your backyard look fantastic.

First of all, thank you for offering. Secondly, you really don't have to do that. Thirdly, if you're going to do it anyway, I really appreciate it, just don't bother spending time/money shipping, I'll see you soon enough.

I've never had anything from Short's so whatever is good from them; if you are in MI I've also been looking forward to trying Kuhnhenn and Schramm's eventually, so if you bump into any of those go for it.

Having never had anything from any of those three, and since I like just about every style out there, feel free to pick for me; whatever is good/popular/fresh is fine by me. I'll pay you back in cash when I'm in Enola if that's ok; I don't have much on hand from out-of-distro and we kinda have the same distro (unless there's stuff in Philly's distro that you don't ever see, in which case I'm happy to help).

 

If you can find it, get their Heirloom Pumpkin. It's categorized as a Barleywine, but it's the best pumpkin beer I've ever had (although, as you noted, quite expensive).

I kept reading those and refraining from liking or quoting any of them... but you win...

 

I stopped at a bottle shop near work last week and picked up two of their bottles; one was Heirloom Pumpkin. Then this weekend, at my local bottle shop, I picked up an assortment of four (including my second each of the first two). Then yesterday when I got the FBS I got the second of another one. So I now have 2 each of 3 beers, plus one more.

And I plan on sending at least one to @UcDru to LICC him back, and at least one or two in this BIF. So I'm probably gonna end up buying MORE. And at over a dollar an ounce locally, that adds up fast. But your endorsement counts.

By the way, while I don't want to get COMPLETELY out of control, I've decided if I see something that is both popular AND something I'd like anyway, I'll buy extra and see who wants some (after this BIF round is over).
