So after poking around in the package store on a sunday in connecticut which is new.... I think I found 2 new beers that will be in rotation this summer. Captain lawrence fresh chester pale ale, and Captains Kolsch! Both way better than I expected them to be and I can. 't stop popping them! Both perfect for summer at less than 6 percent. Anyone else make some finds recently not just for summer but in general, That will probably be part of your regular rotation? Cheers!
I should add captain lawrence just started distributing six packs to my area last week....

I recently added Lancaster Kolsch to my summer rotation. It's really good, light (4.8 abv), canned, and very affordable. I go through lots of Sunshine Pils, Summer Love, and Festina Peche during the summer. Cheers!

Kolsch is a style i guess i need to try more of. Seems like a great summer style that i have not really payed much attention to so far in my craft beer career.

Popped a bottle of Saison Dupont last night. Decently priced, great tasting and remarkably refreshing. Awesome beer for summer that I'll be drinking until the heat ends.

Got some Bell's Two Hearted Ale as a throw-in. Really nice balance. Not too hoppy, not too citrusy I need more.
I have a three hour layover at Detroit Airport on July 5th and I understand it can be had on tap there. Fasten your seat belts.

This! Also the canning of the pale ale has me seriously revisiting that brew!

I've been loving the Sixpoint cans lately. The bengali tiger and resin really hit the spot.

As for summer, I've been starting to get my Saison on :sunglasses:

Anything by weihenstephaner (sorry if spelled wrong). Always loved the hef. But tried the pilsner and original lager as well this weekend and both were great as well.

I'm thinking that Torpedo sales will sky rocket with the canning. No hassles at the pool or beach. Two Hearted should follow.

I will most definitely be buying more 6-pack cans of Anderson Valley Summer Solstice this year. Delicious.

Sixpoint Righteous. I found the 16oz. 4 pks for $8.99. That translates to $10.10 for a 12oz. 6pk. A very drinkable beer at 6.3% and quite tasty.
