Wow! As of 12.10pm, they've run out. No more bottles until tomorrow...

That sounds about right. Not surprised at all. I'm wondering how many cases they either made or are selling each day. I figure they'll sell out of bottles around noon everyday until at least Monday.
I wonder what time the first guy in line that didn't get any showed up...

My buddy was 9 from the front when they ran out. He was told 40 cases a day.

What time did he get in line?

So if it's 40 cases per day, 12 bottles per case, that's 480 bottles per day. Maybe they made 600 cases and will sell 40 cases per day for 15 days. 4 per person (I can't imagine someone NOT getting the max) then the first 120 people in line get their bottles.

How is the line through the back just to get growler fills / bottles?

    10.30am.

He did say the line moved much quicker than the line for Beatification. So, you could potentially get in line at 10am and be out of there by 11.45am which, sadly, isn't too bad these days...

Problem is now, once people hear about this, they'll be getting there that much earlier to avoid missing out. It could well be that this is just a case of first-day craziness and it'll calm down by next week...

I'm hoping the crazies went today. Regardless, I'm hoping to get there about 10 tomorrow.

Since it's spread out for 2 weeks I think today and this weekend will be bad but it shouldn't be too nuts after this weekend. I read someone say that the daily release of 35 cases will be staggered!! If that's the case, that changes everything...

LOL, if the release is staggered, I'll just sit there all day long... I may stagger out, but hey, it's all good.

I just hope I don't get aced out tomorrow and have to take another day off work to go drink beer at RR next week... :stuck_out_tongue:

Got in line there around 10:15 with my friend, we were inside by about noon and they were nearing the end of the bottles allocated for the day already (we were both able to snag 4 apiece). Guessing it won't be as crazy, especially next week, as there were tons of familiar Bay Area beer scene faces there today, but who knows.

They just said on FB that they're releasing 50 cases a day. 50x12/4=150 people full allotment.

    @chfan: took a half day ;-)

If you want seats, I'd aim for probably a 9:30AM arrival time if this traffic was any indication. With our arrival at 10:15, we just missed out on the last remaining outside tables.

How did they run it inside? Did everyone have to line up and get bottles first before being seated or could you have asked for a table, got seated and then ordered your four bottles from your server?

The guy at the door was asking if you wanted a table, so it looks like they'd give you one, but you still had to wait in a separate-from-the-bar bottle line inside to get bottles. They had two such lines going initially, and then when one side ran out of bottles, they directed folks to the other until they were gone.

Word has it some folks rubbed off the stamp they gave you after getting bottles and went to the second line for four more. To those folks I say only: fuck you! It's for charity you jerks; spread the love, don't hoard.

I saw at least 2 people that went thru the line twice to get more beers. One of the chicks operating 1 line was not stamping everyone's hand showing that they purchased bottles causing some people taking advantage of their, once again, broken system in running events.
