So stupid. At that point it will have been bottled for like a month. I'll just get growlers. It should really be more about getting the beer fresh and not the fact that it's in bottles and hype.

 

I asked LP about this on Twitter, and they only sort of responded but didn't really address the question. My follow-up remains unanswered.

 

Whats awesome is that specs got the beer yesterday, yet want to wait 13 days just to do a monday release.... Bush league

 

Someone call them and ask them wtf the deal is? It's expiring as we speak.

Lone pint, if you're reading this. Most of these bottles will end up in trades since we can get fresh growler fills. You don't want out of towners bringing your rating down do ya? Release all teh beers!

 

Aside from my stance that making releases into events only creates chaos and butthurt, what's wrong with this Monday?

This should have been out the door the moment it was bottled... but Houston Spec's gotta hype everything to shit. Like everyone else mentioned, I'll stick to growlers.

 

I'm willing to bet that is the same day Pumpkinator will be released also. Expect chaos.

 

I think if enough people complain to the management at that specs maybe a change will be made. I don't even live there and I hate that place.

So it is actually cheaper by the half growler than the bottles using growlers Montrose prices

 

Unless they're not telling the truth, Specs DOES NOT have bottles in . I just called them. Lone Pint is catching heat on Twitter though.

 

Sounds to me like the Hype Train just wrecked in to the Rumor Mill.

 

It hasn't been released? Well, why are they labeling the taps as Yellow Rose and filling growlers of something advertised as Yellow Rose? Coulda sworn I just drank a pint of it at WF. I'm confused.

 

I'm not worried about this first bottle release since I can get it any time, but I'm not sending this batch to my trade partners. I talk about this beer to them often, and I don't want their first experience to be less than awesome. I'm not sure a month will even make a difference, but I'm just so excited to share it with people I don't want their first one to be less than optimal.
