I'm guessing that it is 30 minutes without the usual Vancouver traffic

So a gorgeous little box shows up from Ontario today. No return address but as soon as I saw the two beers with the same name I immediately remembered MasterSki’s comment. Cheers man, very cool box you put together here. Honestly looking forward to every one of them.

Awesome box received today from Mark in Ontario! (sorry couldn't work out your username)

Such a wonderful box, lots of beers I have wanted to try for ages, as well as ones that match my tastes perfectly.

    Top to bottom:
    Bellwoods: Lambda
    Founders: Dissenter
    Founders: Backwwods Bastard
    Unibroue: Fringante
    3 Floyd's: Zombie Dust
Great Lakes Brewery: Thrust! An IPA
    Bruery: 5 Golden Rings
    Bruery: Mash
    Bruery: Boise
Great Lakes Brewery: Imperial Black IPA
Great Lakes Brewery: Project X Belgian Quad
    Great Lakes Brewery: Donkey Venom

Thanks for the Bellwoods glass and bag as well =)
Will be drinking the Zombie Dust shortly. I homebrewed a clone of it earlier in the year, but have no idea how close I got. Keen to find out!

That box was from me @Boozecamel !
I read in your profile that you preferred higher ABV beers and also that you had visited Bellwoods lately and had some of their better beers on hand still. I also scoured through your 400+ ratings and tried to find some stuff you hopefully hadn't tried yet.

    A few notes:
    - The Zombie Dust, Dissenter and Thrust (2014 CBA American IPA of the year!) were both Bottled/Canned in September and will hopefully still be fresh
    - Donkey Venom is actually Bellwoods and not Great Lakes
    - The Bruery 5GR is actually the Bourbon BA version (which has hit or miss ratings but I actually really liked)
    - The Great Lakes 25th Black IPA is a few YEARS old, which seems like a big no no, but my friends at the brewery said they cracked a few bottles recently and it had aged more like a stout/strong ale and they were super happy with how it;s drinking. If you disagree and think that it sucks I will happily send you something else.

Hopefully we can do some trading in the future as my pal @TheSevenDuffs told me you have a killer cellar and are a fantastic trader!

Oh, and my name is Billy! (not sure where you got Mark)

Sounds a plan Billy! Sorry about getting your name wrong. Must be something to do with me liking the high ABV beers lol.

Oh and yes that Bellwoods glass is a thing of beauty.

    Thanks again.

Back in Ontario for now. Clouded the future is.

Forked River's two year-round beers are pretty meh, but all the one-offs I've had have been quite good.

Well, my box has made it to a major city with my favourite hockey team in it... The box has now travelled about 2400 km of its expected ~3400 km trip. If we are lucky (ha!) it will make it by Friday otherwise I expect a Monday drop.

And since things are getting pretty thin in terms of people expecting boxes, I do not know a good hint... Save that this box in landing in a location with the same name as a major Canadian battle in one of the World Wars.

It's more of a wild beer to be honest. I asked the brewer at Forked River how he wanted it and Golden Chard listed and he said American Wild Ale.

I got my box today but am still sick so it will have to stay unopened until tomorrow... Hopefully by then I will be able to drink one too!
