Isn't it like a prerequisite to be on BA? (j/k, please don't ban me)

Hops & Pie, I love you so much. Thank you.

As for the massive purchase, eh, not the best form but you got the $? Go for it I guess.

    It's beer, gentlemen.

Damn you all for have free time in the day and close proximity to these releases! All the great bottle shops in Denver are a minimum of an hour drive for me and The Springs isn't getting nearly the amount/types that Denver is.

So I'm drinking Surly for the first time at Star Bar (Bender and Eight) and I gotta say that I'm not impressed. What am I missing?

Eight was great. Not a big fan of half the stuff I've tried from Surly, Furious included, but Eight was the best BA American Barleywine I've had. One of the better BA beers for me overall. Cigar City Jai Alai - Peach, Citrus Wizard and Gose... One of the best tappings I've been to. Stone Passion Project (passion fruit added, aged in Rose and other wine barrels) was really nice too. Awesome way to be introduced to Star Bar!

BA Abraxas has so far been the single best beer I've consumed his GABF week. H&P sounded pretty confident they probably had the only keg of it around. I'm glad I bypassed Small Batch at 11:10am with the line snaking out the door to get into H&P's line to secure this goodness.
I went to Small Batch after and they still had what I wanted, so it all worked out.

Yes Bender is a good beer, but coffee bender IMO takes it to another level.

Yes at Star Bar last year, solid beer too! And hoping I make it to Freshcraft Saturday for the Surly party!

Thanks for the quick feedback. Those prices were certainly not what was intended by us or the distributor. The bottles were an after thought to kegs coming in town for GABF and in the rush of it all it wasn't quite the way we both wanted it. It was only a few cases of beer (literally) that were sent with the palate of kegs to fill it out. This is not what one should expect from a future wider PW distro in CO. It'll be sometime next year, but it'll be 4-pack cans at a radically different price (cost/oz).

Great news. Loved the Ninja v Unicorn and Citra. Hope I can stumble into something on draft this weekend
