Just wondering what Oktoberfest gatherings people have heard of in SoCal (preferably Los Angeles). All I've heard about is this vegan event in Santa Monica, which seems to have good SoCal brewers participating: http://www.veganoktoberfest.com/

I would definitely be hitting that up if I weren't going camping this weekend. There's also Alpine Village, but I've never been there, don't know what it's like. It looks super cheeseball in a fantastic way...but I don't know how that translates to the beer they serve.

Alpine Village is great if you want to roll with the bros and hold in your vomit while waiting for a porta potty

Alpine Village is a must at least once.

There are ones in Burbank and Santa Clarita that I am aware of.

Alpine is something you have to do at least once. Though I do like the Sunday festivities a lot better as it's less bro filled and still just as fun.
