I have been having problems also. They posted saying they are aware of the problems and are working on fixing them. Their post was much more detailed than my explanation.

 

Yeah, its been down a lot the last 2 days.

 

Is that an American shitton (I think it's one word) or a Metric shitton?

 

It's American. Shitkilos just doesn't have the same ring to it.

 

It's been sort of bad all week, terrible today -- I think our thread is stressing their servers

 

I got two of today's conversations crossed in my brain, so now I'm wondering if @Seanhand_atl is frantically running around updated his wants and hads and gots and putting the Red Wheelbarrow on and off of the various lists.

 

Today's hints didn't cross anyone off for me, so I'm still sitting at 13, awww

Hint 1: Shipping South
Hint 2: You updated your wants yesterday with something I planned on sending to you regardless of if it was on your wants.
Hint 3: Your state doesn't border any major body of water or start with a vowel
Hint 4 (new): If I were to drive and hand deliver your box, I could do it in less than 24 hours.

I'm probably doing a little bit of shopping for the box tomorrow. Likely will do the 2nd part of shopping next weekend now and send out the following week. I want to get some brewery only stuff from a local brewery but want to send it as fresh as possible, and that will probably be the next week stop.

 

Hint #1 Shipping West
Hint #2 Target needs to update wants….Target just updated his wants, and it includes something that is already in his box.
Hint# 3 Ill jump on the same bandwagon, cause my target's state is also on a body of water.
Hint #4 Football related, well if I say it has something to do with tonights game, than Im giving away too great of a hint.

 

Update to my target, I believe I've hit 6 wants. Your bottles are all cap taped, wrapped, bubble wrapped and rubber banded. The problem, I have no empty boxes lol. I've already scattered them all across be country. Now to shop for that. You boxes will most likely be going out Monday; told you guys I was impatient.

So guys, just a little update on the PayPal thing... with 35 participants in the round, we officially have THIRTY SIX contributors. That's right, one person not even participating contributed. Oh, and EVERY SINGLE PARTICIPANT CONTRIBUTED. LOVE this community.

Can you call out or the awesome guy who contributed please step forward to receive some well deserved accolades? This group of people has become such a nice surprise. You all are really spoiling someone on their expectations of a BIF and really putting the community in this whole thing!

*edit forgive the overtones of bromance! but 2 9% + bombers in 90 minutes will do that, plus you guys all kick ass

 

Oh god yes, and then some. Details on what is being done with the extra to come. Feel free to BM me if you have suggestions, but I think the idea I've already got is a pretty good one so I reserve the right to do that anyway

I won't out the person who contributed from outside the round, as I promised anonymity on my end. I will say it's someone who has participated in an earlier round, so not a total stranger to the group.

Clue #1: shipping west
Clue #2: my target's state has at least one sports team in each of the four major sports
Clue #3: my target's state is NOT participating in tonight's NFL game

 

depending on how you define "participating", the two Minnesota guys might still be valid targets

 

Hint #? : my target's state was originally all about friends.

Hint #3 - my target's state is not the name of a Monopoly property
Hint #4 - while there are two senders in this BIF who share a first name with their target, I am not one of them.
Hint #5 - my target either participated in both of the prior two rounds of the Locals, or participated in neither
Hint #6 - my target is the only participant in this round from his state
