And @mklisz that definitely sucks pretty hard. I don't even know what I'd do if this happened to me, other than cry.

 

That's awesome -- there is a small brewery (Rushing Duck) about an hour from me that (in my opinion) makes great beer -- I've gotten over there twice, and tasted some of their stuff and think they are really good and creative. I think their scores on BA average about a 4.0, but nothing has over 80 or so reviews (and the average is probably in the 20's). I'm gonna try and include some of their stuff in any boxes I send out to share the wealth and get other opinions.

But these are the types of things "the Locals" is for, right?

 

I would guess that too -- I agree this sucks. It's nice not having to be around when a package arrives, but you're probably better off babysitting the next one...

 

Have you had FedEx do a trace on it? A lot of times in these situations the driver delivers it to a similar address. In many instances they are able to find it and/or sometimes a neighbor will bring the box to the rightful owner. While not holding out a ton of hope maybe, you being such a good BA it will find its way back.

 

When my girlfriend and I were in Nyc a bar we went to had a rushing duck tap takeover. We were both very impressed by their beers. I was surprised to see the lower ratings. I would be happy if I were your target

 

Their ratings are actually high, just very few reviews. Peekskill brewery near me is awesome too, but Rushing Duck is more creative with their recipes.

 

The call box in my building calls my cell phone and I can unlock the front door by pressing 9. I was away from home, got the call and let guy in. Came home 3 hours later (the building was locked) and it was gone. I asked my neighbor if he saw a package there last night and he said yes. It was definitely delivered to me, then stolen.

 

I guess I was just drunk or could be thinking of the untappd reviews below me at the time. Either way, never had heard of them and was impressed, bummed I didnt get to try any Other Half, heard they are doing good things.

 

Coffee break is excellent. Unfortunately it is the only PW I've yet had...

 

That's really shitty... can building management maybe help? Or post around that you're offering a reward, no questions asked? (and then turn the bastards in anyway!)

I've had Ninja vs Unicorn and Mosiac. Both were very good and made me want to get ahold of more PW

 

Whatever the reason, I'm chalking that up to a product of your unparalleled beer karma. Very happy for you man. ps- let me know how that Hoppin Frog pumpkin is, I've passed it be a few times now but have almost pulled the trigger on it every time.

 

Just had Jackie O's Oil of Aphrodite and Black Maple (both the base versions, not the ones you listed above) last night at one of the side-GABF events. Was quite happy with both. Can imagine that wood-aging does well for both of them.

 

After spending some time in the jackie o's barrel room (which is adorned with an OAKland Raiders flag) with head brewer Brad, I'm certain he's doing great things, letting the beer age properly and would only release the highest quality product.

 

As if I wasn't already ISO....

 

To my target: Hint #1 I am shipping North
Hint #2 My target has less trades than I do.

 

Box is all packed up, will ship out Monday.

 

My box will contain a beer from a local brewery that doesn't get a lot of pub. I think the beer is damn good and I think my target will too. This brewery is producing better than a certain football team that shares the same name and city.
