Hola beer geeks! And Happy New Beer Sunday! This beer will befuddle you. I mean what is heavier than the idea that all men must die? Nothing right - but this beer has a lightness that defies it's name. A softness that seems permanent . A bearing that is gracefull and a presence in the glass that is as pretty as a wildflower.


Think of a beautiful woman and pretend it was me. The devil is a nomad and so is death. None of his works survive only he himself and you because without you he is erased. So who is bigger?

 

Weyerbacher Last Chance IPA

Unfortunately, my local beer store doesn't move its product quickly enough, so most of the available beers were all bottled back in April... I think that this one has lost some of it's character.

 

My first time with one of the Harpoon's 100 Barrel Series beers and I have to say, I'm impressed! This is a pretty damn delicious IPL.

 

The fog and rain went away, and it's sunny and in the 60s.
A good round of golf this morning, now enjoying this porter from Harpoon.
Gonna drive a kid back to WPI and stop at The Portsmouth Brewery for dinner.

 

Been meaning to try this one for awhile, finally found some fresh (canned 9/11/14) and picked up a sixer. Pretty good!

Not sure if this will work from mobile but a work trip to Vermont got me some Heady. Poured out half and drank the other from the can. Awesome.

 

Yes, it's good. I had it in the early eighties, but it was a different beer then.
Years ago I bought a growler of Celebration ale and gave my Father a pour,
he said it reminded him of beer he had years ago. I can't help but wonder
how close this is to the original and beers from that era.

It's odd that the Packers are not playing today after beating the Bears and stomping the Vikings last week.

 

Wow ! This stuff is phenomenal - Really digging, it just a perfect fall brew.

Apple Crisp ready to go on the smoker in a couple mins hopefully it will be ready and cooled enough
for a little snack by half time.

 

Started with this for breakfast. Very good, but the rum barrel is a little too harsh for my tastes.



Moved on to this. Not a big fan of gin, but this is great. I am really impressed by this one.

 

How is it? Saw that TW has it in stock on their website. Thinking about picking up several.

Enjoying an all grain homebrewed APA, 20% wheat in this batch.
Lots of lemongrass notes, and tropical fruit from all the Citra.
