Pumpkin beer recommendations?

Had some recent Colorado ones that were notable - Odyssey Fluffy Pumpkin and Eddyline Pumpkin Patch Ale.
Both are unique enough to stand out from the pack of "me too" pumpkin spiced beers. They're no Schlafly, but both are still quite good.

 

I'm in Buffalo, NY area and just recently starting seeing Elysian pop up around the area. All 3 Elysian's pumpkin's were very good IMO

 

Nice, hoping to visit some friends in Rochester soon. Hopefully this holds out for a bit. Thanks for the info!

 

Angotti beverage center in Batavia had it last week. Also Xoceveza

 

Schlafly Pumpkin and Almanac's Pumpkin Barleywine. The best.

 

Barrel Aged Whole Hog Pumpkin was amazing.

Imperial Smash Pumpkin is incredible - from Crown. So is Lakefront's Cognac Pumpkin Lager. If anyone is interested I have multiples of Avery's Rumpkin and PumpKyn I would trade for non-distro pumpkin ales elsewhere.

 

just had the offering by Schafly brewery, it was really good.....so drinkable for an 8 abv. Pumking by southern tier and dogfish punkin ale really stick out to me as well. all the others I've had just all taste the same.

 

definetly beats out pumking this year.....had pumking back a few years ago and it was incredible...feel like its gone downhill though for sure.

 

I generally loathe pumpkin beers, but Smuttynose makes the most tolerable one for my tastes. I was also tolerant of Coney Island's Freaktoberfest (the new one...pumpkin with espresso)

I'm lost on most

 

Here's a new thrillist (I know, year another one…) rating the top pumpkin beers. Haven't had enough to comment on the quality of the list, but psyched to see Cigar City at #1!

Reading this thread makes me wonder how Shipyard Pumpkinhead is so popular. It is terrible compared to the majority of pumpkin offerings out there

 

DFH Punkin Ale was nice because it wasn't overpowering with pumpkin taste and I thought was very well rounded.

I have ST Pumking and Warlock waiting also. How do you guys think those two are?
