What is your state tree?

 

I know it is the hemlock (had to look it up) but I think it's headed to Philly still.

 

Officially mine is the Tulip Poplar. But, everyone here knows it's more of a weed......

No I'm in the center of PA and think its heading 90 minutes east.

 

Box update. It didn't go out today as planned. I didn't have time to stop by the brewery for some swag. Hopefully it will go out tomorrow but if not I will probably wait until next Monday. I did pick up a treat for the box and it comes from a local establishment that has just as good of a reputation as some of Michigan's best brewery's.

 

Hint #1: Shipping to a state that joined the union before mine
Hint #2: Shipping to a state where the Rolling Stones have played live
Hint #3: Shipping to a state with more consonants than vowels in its name
Hint #4: Shipping to a state where The Doors played more than a dozen times

 

Somehow I managed to cross you off from this one

and with that I'm still at 10 people from 10 different states

 

Hint 4: in 1960, my metro had more than twice my target's metro's population. Now, my target's metro has slightly more population than mine...

 

Hint # 4(I think) Me thinks my target is one smart fella

I think about 12 or 13 of us are already signed up for that, it's definitely a cool concept.

Of course, this does NOT necessarily mean we won't do some type of winter "mini-6" anyway.

 

I'm pretty sure it means "Give me liberty or give me death" ie VA.

 

Going back to find hints sucks when your employees keep calling out and turning your 8 hour days into 12-14 hour days.

 

The next clue was something about Hemlock which is both the PA state tree and a TV show filmed in a PA town. If I was a betting man, and I am, his box is headed to PA.

Its what happens when you own a business….. going to get packing now, wife is away on a business trip, so I need to clean up my packing mess before she gets home.

 

Target selected for the next trip of the sixterhood... need to grab a couple beers... hopefully it will be out by Wednesday, I will let you all know when it goes out and start giving some hints then...


On another note, with GABF weekend over, I just have to recommend that you all make the trip to Denver once to come to the festival if you haven't before. This is the second time I've gone and I had an even better time this year... getting to sample beers including: Assassin, NG Wild Peach, Project Dank, Cable Car '13, ANTEAD, and so many others at the same place at the same time is just an amazing experience.... my experience was elevated to an even more insane level this year as I was sitting at Falling Rock after the festival and I received a text from a beer buddy (who I now owe the world too) who told me he was about to open this bottle at his place 3 blocks away. I drunkenly sprinted there...



Right place at the right time... I'm a lucky bastard...

 

Totally ignoring the fact that I obviously know all the sender-target pairings, the fact that there are a lot of multiple entrants from states (including 4 each from Texas and Pennsylvania) makes things trickier. I think most of the hints tend to narrow things down by state in general.
