    Actually, that comment only confirms that the beer is the owners least favorite. One persons opinion, nothing more nothing less. Just because the guy is the owner, does not make him the definitive authority on personal tastes.

    Have you had both beers, regular and barrel aged? If not your "suspicions" are unfounded, if so I would like to hear your reasonings for comparing the barrel aged version to "piss in a barrel".

    Ah I see my error. This is the imperial BA not the regular BA. I tend to not make much sense a lot...

    I'm headed out that way too on Saturday (day after). Joking aside, is it everyones expectation that bottles will last past the first day or will they all be gobbled up?

    Ahh, the barrel piss did not refer to the bba mmstout specifically. Shit, I tore through 8 of em. The regular was up there with my favorites last year and I'm a chili fan, the barrel killed that and there wasn't enough bourbon to make up for it. I guess if you don't care about the chili's, a little bourbon would be an improvement, but as an Oddsides it was s disappointment. I know what they can do with that beer, and they're doing it now. Huge respect to Oddsides for admitting they dropped the ball and calling for a "do over".

    Uuuaahh I gotta have it. My hopes aren't very high though being in the UP (although we did get something like 1 case of Morningwood here). If anyone down there in the LP is going to the release and would be willing to get some for me, I would totally pay you cost + shipping to send it here. If they were located further north I would totally go myself, but a 9 hour drive may be a bit much for a beer release.
