Yep, will have marked two years since the last sighting of Canadian Breakfast Stout at the Winter MBG. I'm not sure, it may have popped up a few places around the state under the radar.

I think it's a great beer and I am by no means on the bandwagon of "bitch everytime Founders releases a beer that isn't CBS/Black Biscuit/BAFIS/Insert random Uber-BA-Founders beer." I do find it highly surprising that there has been this kind of draught as it isn't like Founders hasn't been doing anything else in BLiS barrels...

I would rather they save the barrel capacity for increased KBS and BWB production and skip BBA backstage beers. But that's just me...

What are they up to? Possibly brewing CBS. They just submitted it for label approval.

Dec 21st, 2012 - "And, yes, if you didn’t catch that, we are going to move Breakfast Stout from a four-pack to a six-pack when it is released again in October 2013, and it will maintain the same suggested retail price of $9.99. [UPDATE: As of August 2013, we made the decision to keep Breakfast Stout in a 4-pack after having switched All Day IPA into our year-round lineup and with an eye out for blended margins with our 2014 seasonal offerings. Stay tuned for the 2014 calendar.]"

I guess they scrapped this awesome idea.

I feel like an old man and maybe I am, but Red's Rye used to be the best damn beer I've ever had. Either my pallet has changed or the beer has. I'm still thrilled that my sister bought a keg of it for her wedding next week, though.

Fresh red's rye is pretty tits. Pretty much my go to beer when at founders or anywhere else it's on tap. Falls off pretty fast though in the bottle.

I hope I'm just getting old bottles. I'll have to do more testing...say AT Founders!
