BG&E was the best beer I've ever had.

Yeah, and they didn't fill growlers of anything other than Sunday Brunch almost all day because it's so damn good that people were stocking up on it! hahaha

imho i don't get what was so good about BG&E. it was a good beer but nowhere near Mornin' Delight. not even on the same level.

Not saying it will be the same level but the ccb brewpubs brewers brunch. Their maple cupcake is a brown ale not a stout.

I would set it up side by side with any barrel aged beers.

What about Funky Buddha MBCP? Or has it fallen off?

FWIW, my source at the brewery says that while they do intend to do another batch of Good Morning at some point, it will be a while as it is not currently scheduled.

I haven't read anything on here in quite some time with which I disagree so completely.

I talked to the guys there the week before last and they indicated the same, that it would be run again. It hadn't yet been brewed, and they did not specifically say it was in the near future, but I wouldn't be surprised if it popped up, source info or not.

I interpreted it as he wasn't sure whether or not BA vs non-BA would be an unfair comparison. As someone who's had both Mornin' Delight and BG&E, I don't think it's an unfair comparison between the 2 beers.

MBCP is the closest comparison to MD for me, different mouthfeel though. I've had both fresh and fairly recently, both still awesome but not as potent coffee as when fresh. Which is to be expected, but I wouldn't say it's completely "fallen off," like say... CBS

This thread warrants a huge thanks to the homie @blckout20 who shared/hooked me up with BG&E, MBCP and Good Morning all on separate occasions. What a guy!

One of my regulars found out they did a release of Good Morning at Treehouse and grabbed a 750 for me, so I will use that as the comparison beer. Thank you all so much for your help!

@justlovebeer Really glad you got some!

Tell your source that the beer was actually already brewed, since it's about a 4 week turnover and is out again
