Havent seen it around and when I saw the OC fall variety pack and it wasnt in it I assumed it had to be gone. I looked it up and sure enough its discontinued. Not sure why since a lot of people here think OC has improved lately. To discontinue an Octoberfest doesnt seem like a good idea IMO.

They discontinued it because for the last 5ish years sales of it were down every year. And thats why they brewed Overgrown, which seems like it was a hit. I agree though, I wish I had some OC Octoberfest

Weird since they had their "Oktoberfest" celebration at the brewery this year. That one makes 0 sense to me

Yup. Go for it. I think Overgrown is delicious. It's very juicy  Very bright and crisp. It's like $15 a 12pk here and for the level of hoppiness, I think it's really quite a steal.

He must have mis-spoke. To repeat what I said earlier though, I do wish they still had their oktoberfest and had it called oktoberfest.

I didn't like it. It just didn't seem like anything special.

    I miss Octoberfest.

I've been extrememly dissapointed with the direction Otter Creek has gone lately. I loved, loved, loved the Stovepipe Porter. It was actually the first beer I would mention when friends and family from other parts of the country would ask for a New England beer recommendation. I'd trade in their new mediocre hops obessed brews for their old stuff any day of the week.
