    What a differnce a year or 2 makes. BB 24 got lucky and found 2. BB 25, I actually found a bottle in my celler that I picked up 1 of last year. And this year, BB 26, easy find.

    Deschutes has really upped distro to Texas this year as well. Mirror Mirror and Not the Stoic can still be found easily.

    It is sitting at the warehouse in Austin. Austin uses a different distributor than the rest of Texas for Deschutes. It will be released at some point but it sounds like they are waiting for Not the Stoic to sell more before they distribute it.

    Or, at least I heard it that way.

    Pretty shitty, honestly.

    It's the "new beer is better beer" syndrome. (My favorite take is here.)

    When BB 24 and 25 hit, they were the hot new item among a very small selection. Now 26 hits and no one even lifts a finger. Fine with me, and as for Mirror Mirror, even more fine cuz that stuff is amazing.

    I was in town briefly last weekend. I stopped by Spec's Midtown to see what I've been missing for the prior two months and saw at least ten cases of Black Butte, a few cases of Mirror Mirror, and at least one case of Not the Stoic.
