While we're at it,

If my target (who lives well over 1500 miles from me...) likes this post, he will be giving me permission to stretch the meaning of "local" to those states that are contiguous, or close to contiguos... like KY,WI, OH, IN...

It would "Bo" in his best interest to not be such a "Red" "Doris" and like this post; Otherwise, I may not be able to "Munster" up the strength to put all these awesome bottles (Avg. BA rating for these 4--93.25 w/ one rated @85) into a box that currently sits at 292 ounces, has a BA Avg. of 92.2 with one beer unranked (avg rating 4.12), and contains at least 4 Barrel Aged goodies...

 

Hint: I may or may not have friended my target on untappd.

 

I like your concept of "local". I wanted to apply it to my own target.

 

My concept of local includes Colorado beers and ANY other of my target's wants that I can get in his box, be they from Cali, Vermont, or overseas...

 

Of course i just spent the last half hour reading up on the Monty Hall problem... I love shit like that.

 

I already decided that as I was driving through OH and IN on my way to MI those states were 'local' to me at that time and there will be beers from those states in my box.

 

I thought my wants were updated, but I just added some more... just in case my sender has any of them...

 

I'm all for contiguous states, though just in case I'm your target: I have regular access to standard (B)DORIS

 

I have one or two kicking around, not too many more I don't think. It should be released sometime between late November and mid-December. If you can wait until then I can realistically get all that you want. I think my store ran out of last year's store in March or so, so it does sit around a little bit in town and it isn't super-hard to get at all. It's probably harder to get in Charlotte and Greensboro (though its released early in Greensboro I think due to the relationship with Bestway) though.

Send me a BM and let me know what you want to do. It'll probably be slightly hard to get me to give up my last 1-2 Event Horizon's from last year, but if you want to wait until this year's release I'll definitely trade locals or whatever you want to do.

I thought that my first clue was shipping West. Darn, now I'm going to have to go back and check... I hope I didn't screw that one up--That would be a lit of people erasing/scribbling out...

 

Nope... I didn't say West. I said South.

It's a shame I never said I'm shipping West as a clue because that would eliminate quite a few people. What a shame...

 

Well I guess that cat is out of the bag... you might have just eliminated more people at once than you meant to.

Speaking of elminating people... the state to which I am shipping includes a notable peninsula.

I had completely forgotten about the local treat as well. I was just planning on sending it anyway like heysteve and his crab fries.

So since the Broncos won, that leaves me wondering what your NFL team is....

I have two guesses based on the assumption that 'your team' was 'local' to the location where you lived for over 20 years; perhaps it is 'local' to that location and the winning team in that game is from a different part of the state; or it is 'local' to that location but actually located in the next state over. In either case, there was only 1 game with two in-state teams, and only 1 game with two neighboring states represented.

Of course, if you're a fan of a team not from where you spent 20 years living, then I'm clueless... I'm still hoping you're a Rams fan for some unknown reason.

Clue #1: shipping west
Clue #2: my target's state has at least one sports team in each of the four major sports
Clue #3: my target's state is NOT participating in tonight's NFL game - was GB Vs Wisconsin
Clue #4: my target's state borders a Great Lake or Ocean
Clue #5: my target is NOT in my time zone
Clue #6: I don't have many local 'walez' so I went well over the oz requirement in hope you like my box.

I guess ^^^^^ isn't a clue but those clues should have me narrowed down to four possible recipients.
