Join the Brooklyn Brewery brewing team and Brewmaster Garrett Oliver on Tuesday, October 14 at 7 PM as they drop in on our neighbors and friends at Other Half Brewing here in Brooklyn. The plan for the night is simple: we’ll be busting out the bottles hiding in the deepest reaches of our cellar, pouring and discussing them in one of their rarest appearances. Other Half will open their taps to allow you to explore their bounty of beers as well. Once the Ghost Bottles are gone, so are we. Space is extremely limited, so get there early and keep a tight grip on your glass.

 

Having a glass of Nice Life Imperial IPA at Ginger Man right now. Very fresh and fantastic beer. Pine, tropical fruits, orange candy? Idk but its awesome.

Also had a few glasses of HF Dorothy at GM. Doubt it will last long. Figured I'd "inadvertently" share that information for my fellow NY BA's.

 

That sounds awesome. I think @Jeffboyardee123 and I are gonna try to make it. You too I assume?

Did other half ever release the ba saison bottles?

 

Did anyone get to the brewery last night? If so, what was the tap list like? I have a family member driving passed the brewery on her way home from the city later today and she has agreed to stop at the brewery for me. I wanted to know ahead of time what to expect so I could make the visit quick and painless for her. Also, any bottles at the brewery?

 

Sounds cool. Not sure I could be done with work in time to get in the door there.

 

I stopped by yesterday and asked about them, and they said it still could be another 6-8 weeks. Also Green Diamonds cans are 2-3 months out.

Stopped by yesterday, and I remember they had Nice Life, Hop Showers, Koksijde 12, All Green, IPA, Green Diamonds, Veldrijen Love, and Cool Summer Bro.

 

Read somewhere new session IPA should be out tomorrow.

It was out yesterday. Pretty solid offering at ~4%.

 

Yep - it's called Small Green Everything. It's been a couple weeks since I've made the trek. Have to fix that on the 14th, but I don't have a ride back home. I'll try to finagle something.

 

Small green everything was the last session ipa, new one is called Forever Green.

"We are hosting our friends from Brooklyn Brewery and their brewmaster, Garrett Oliver for a very special Ghost Bottle night at Other Half on Tuesday, Oct 14. Doors open at 6:45. Entry will be granted to the first 50 people in line.
Afterwards, the taproom will be opening at 8:30 to the public and OHB beers will be flowing as well as a few special surprise beers from us. Hope to see you there!"
