with all due respect, drinking that crap is probably worse than drinking beer for breakfast

Usually it is the can laying around from the night before with the fewest cigarette butts in it.

If the the urge strikes go for it. It's not a problem unless if it keeps you from doing what you really want to do.

Some of the replies here have really helped cheer me up on an otherwise dreary day here in central KY. It's after 5:00 here so I guess I am safe to have a beer. Not as big of fan of morning drinking as I was perhaps 30-35 years ago.

Only time I drink before noon is after a long morning run. Running ten miles is the only way I can justify morning beers.
Only problem is once I pop the fun don't stop. I'm usually asleep by 8 P.M.
When I was younger I would have lots of morning beers after going skiing all night long.

For us lucky enough to live in such a great state, tiny Backcountry Brewery in Frisco makes a re-donk-ulous Breakfast Stout with huge coffee notes at a mere 4.4%.

If I drank beer with breakfast, that'd be the one.

It depends on my mood. If I have a breakfast beer I usually treat it as a treat. Sometimes a belgian ale and sometimes a nice sweet stout.

It is usually a wonderfully decadent feeling.

Occasionally, and by that I mean maybe once a month, I'll open a nice stout around 10am and sip. Definitely only on a weekend though. To be honest I cracked open a Ten Fidy this morning at about 10ish and shared with a friend before we went out fishing, but I don't make it a habit.
