I miss Marble. One of my favorites.

Tonight's menu, no pics. My wife tends to get a little testy when I interrupt beer o'clock to take pics and post them to a forum:

Terrapin/Schmaltz Reunion 14: nice flavors, flimsy, light bodied base beer. Adjunct city, would have been a terrific imperial stout.

    Finch's Hardcore Chimera
: After multiple recommendations bought my first beer from this brewery, a very strong DIPA with a terrific aroma and nice balance; neither uber bitter nor bone-dry, just tasty.

Plan Bee Farmstand #6 (Jalapeno) delicious saison with big bouquet of chile; well-integrated into the flavor without being excessively hot; excellent accompaniment to Japanese take-out.

Captain Lawrence Golden Delicious - so good, so glad this is in 4 packs now. Awesome to have such an excellent barrel aged beer at a nice price sitting on shelves. Great alternative to a stout or bw for a barrel aged nightcap.

YES! Good call with Pressure Drop, been awhile since I put that one on.

    Many thanks! Cheers to that.

Now I know why they charge so much for a 4 pack.

First enjoyed an explosion of hoppy goodness with a Ballistic IPA from Ale Asylum.

Then found this bad boy—2013 model, lurking in back of the beer fridge. Hops have died but still doing the trick right about now.

Right now this is the most interesting beer in the world as tasted by me. Bottled 2013. It is far from perfect but not that bad at the same time.

I'm going with hoppy on the next one-

My general rule probably says more about our distribution here in NJ than the beer, but whenever I see a 'month old' Ruination I have to pick it up. This one is on the cusp, so I went with it. Still a thing of beauty in my eyes!

More Robert Palmer- from Pressure Drop-

that's the stuff...75% New Orleans, 15% Caribbean, 10% Blue-eyed soul- he really hit the right formula with this one.

Aging some. Is it better or worse aged?

After coming off fresh Pliny it's taking a bit for my buds to adjust, definitely faded since it was first released, but still has a nice citrus/pine bite with slight resin at the very end, but still enjoyable. 'Hope Founders does this one again.
