Morning Beers

The only time I have/will ever order bourbon on the rocks. At 7am

 

I'd like to think that most people on this website don't suffer from alcoholism and are entirely immers

Is that your "cooking scotch" in the back? I'm more of a "marinade everything in Utopias" kinda guy.

 

I had Hopecelot, Permagrin, Super session 4 THEN Maple fayston, at 8PM at Madtaco in Waitsfeild.

No fucks given. That beer is delicious.

 

Salvator doppelbock with a toasted honey wheat waffle banana pb&j is banging. Try that

 

I do enjoy a stout or porter with breakfast from time to time ...

What could be wrong with that?

 

with a rotating schedule, sometimes a morning beer is "right before bed...."

 

So can anyone find me real medical studies or proof that an energy drink or the use of is bad for one's health? Or are you just feeding into the media's BS? And since you can't find that article or proof, state why you think so, your own little theory.

 

Yesterday I got home from work at 8 am. I Made a turkey melt on a toasted bagel for Mrs. Walrus and a nice fat everything omelet for myself. I enjoyed my breakfast with a Dogfish Head Palo Santo Marron. Shortly thereafter I was fast asleep.
Life is good.

 

Weekends those of you who know me ... know I usually can be found fire'n up one or both of my smokers.
bright and early ... so that usually mean's a nice Coffee Stout or FBS to get my day going ...

I work Tues - Fri and am up at 2:30 am so the internal alarm clock goes off for me extremely early on the weekends
and my Monday's, Monday its nothing to crack open a IPA by 9 am especially if I've been busy around the house.
I look at it as I have been up 7 1/2 hrs ( if I woke at 7 am and started drinking at the proverbial noon that's only 5 hrs later.) so in my head i see that as 2 pm for a normal person. Just how I rationalize it.

 

"The beer I had for breakfast, wasn't bad, so I had one more, for dessert." I am always singing this, when I drink in the morning, so I have to have at least two.

 

I think you were sitting right next to us. Your friends just gave you gas money to pick them up some beers right?

 

Don't know how you guys do it. I have a beer in the morning, I'll be drinking all day. Game over.

 

Woke up about 7 this morning to smoke a pork butt for some pulled pork that should be ready just in time for the Eagles-Giants game. Made some breakfast and decided to have a beer with breakfast for the first time (although I certainly don't see it becoming a habit). Had a FBS. It was delicious. Can't wait for the "blackout" game. It'll be only stouts today for me

 

I'm with you. However, camping, fishing, & cabin-ing type things all bets are off, depending of course on your state of being after the previous night's affairs & where maybe the rest of the group steps in with an impromptu intervention..."Maybe start w/some coffee..."

 

Beer in the morning? No way. But I did go to church today and had some wine.

 

You guys realize that a morning beer doesn't mean you drink all day right?

 

I like super fruity IPAs in the morning, like Tasmanian IPA or maybe Maximus if I ever do it. Which is pretty much never.

 

You should have smoked pot with your father-in-law to get back at her.
