Is this a serious thread? Who would come up with this? Are you really sitting there wondering how fast guys drink a beer? Not to mention that you failed to differentiate what type of beer. Either a 4% session or a 13% BA stout. Please, find something better to do with your time than to start stupid threads like this.

So by your logic are the rest of us who responded to this 'stupid thread' complete morons??? I think you need to find something to do with your own time rather than enlighten the rest of us with your stellar logic here on BA.

22-25 mins per beer. If the ABV is higher than 6, then the time increases.

Depends on how sessionable a beer is. If it feels heavy I'll take my time, but a lighter beer can take 10-20 minutes.

When you're drinking beer to slow, beer bong's the way to go!

If I'm drinking a beer I especially love and is a rare one, I drink it slow. And I am trying to taste the full taste and aroma with every sip. If I am drinking some beer that is average, and I don't especially love, then it's almost the bottoms up.

I don't like the bottleneck that occurs where you feel like you have to hurry up cos you're getting excited about the next beer.

If I drink out of a pint glass, I'll down anything as I've been roaming the desert without water for a week. But if I happen to use (which I rarely do) a snifter or something with a little more class I tend to feel obligated to savor the tasty beverage and make it last. I made the mistake of pouring a recent bottle of BCBS in a pint glass, and let's just say it was gone it 5 minutes flat, an hour later and after two additional hefty IPAs, it was game over for me.

Guzzling suggests to me that one who guzzles wants to skip getting a buzz for getting directly to a drunken stage. Not for me. Mind you, session brews DO disappear from my glass at an alarming rate. :grinning:
