Don't really know any teachers or really anything about the teaching profession do you?

Summer school, plus coaching, plus curriculum development meetings, plus conferences, plus professional development meetings, etc.. If you want, I can chart out how many hours that is, but roughly 60 hrs a week during the school year and 30 during the "Summer". You were saying....

You are very diligent. I know the majority of teachers I've been around are not putting 30 hours a week in durning the summer. Thanks for your hard work. Need more like you.

Just about all of my friends are teachers. Some for CPS. Some for private schools. Some in the burbs.

None of them are doing more than 5-10 hours of work per week.

I am a little confused about "As You Wish". Is this a different porter than Coqui? is it BA? Did it hit distro?

Yes it is, yes it is, and yes it did. A lot of places still haven't gotten it yet however.

Release of this good stuff starts 10/13

    NEW! Guardian's Rivalry

The first sip of something familiar
    The reminder chaos creates calm
Bottled ideas of minds meeting for the first time
The aftermath of striving for passed perfection
This is the creation of those with passion and heart

    - Poem by Sae Lim

We collaborated with the chefs at the intensely delicious and innovative Japanese inspired restauraunt, Kaizan, to create this complex, and balanced beverage. This pale ale has bright citrus and pine notes from yuzu, an eastern asian fruit, which is balanced by the subtle cucumber aroma from the kombu, a tea made from Japanese sea weed, arame. The white miso adds a gentle salinity and slight umami flavor.
    $10.99, 22oz, 9% ABV

NEW! Parttime's Weirdo Imperial Pale Ale
It takes a real weirdo to think pomegranate juice and jasmine green tea would go together well in a beer, but lucky for us, that weirdo is Nick Parttime, Pipeworks employee. This is a delicious and delicate brew balanced by floral and sweet wildflower honey.
    $9.99, 22 oz, 8.5% ABV

NEW! The Walrus and the Carpenter Oyster Stout
We collaborated with the main man supa cool dude, Carl, from Supreme Lobster, to make this roasty yet silky oyster stout brewed with WHOLE OYSTERS. Yes. 40 lbs of delicious, fresh, clean, east coast oysters went into the boil. Thanks to the addition of protein from the oyster bodies, minerals from the shells, and natural brine, this dry stout has a smooth smooth smaoooooth mouthfeel.
    $10.99, 22 oz, 10% ABV

    The Mighty Thor
This Imperial Porter is brewed in memory of our neighbor and label artist's best four-legged friend, Thor. Thor was a big, floppy, and smiley mastif who loved going on walks to the brewery, and parking his slobbery head down on the sidewalk to smell what's cooking. A portion of all proceeds from The Mighty Thor benefit the Great Lakes Mastif Rescue.
    $9.99, 22 oz, 10% ABV

    Pipeworks Ninja vs. Unicorn
Our DIPA brewed with scoops and scoops of hops is bursting with juicy grapefruit aroma and balanced bitterness.
    $9.99, 22oz, 9.0%ABV

    On the Brewing Horizon:

Attack of the Devil's Lettuce - An Imperial pale ale brewed with sorachi ace hops and Dark Matter Coffee

Nisperos de Batata - A dark ale brewed with sweet potatoes, coconut, vanilla, and spices.

Pipeworks Citra Ninja- An IIPA brewed with lots of Citra hops.

Blood of the Unicorn - A hoppy imperial red ale

I know it's a slim to none chance, but anyone have a non-beermenus lead on some bottles of Square Grouper still hanging around? Looking for one or two if anyone is holding an extra and is feeling generous. Messages preferred. Thanks

I was able to pick up a couple of bottles at Craft on Belmont (near Lincoln/Ashland/Belmont intersection) on Friday. Not sure if any are left, but might be worth a call. That place always has Pipeworks bottles.

Every place always has Pipeworks bottles. Some stores are going to have to devote entire sections to Pipeworks, as they keep releasing new beers every damn week.

I didn't mean to offend you or come off as combative. Just so used to people attacking the teaching profession. Yea, there are a lot of shitty teachers out there that give us a bad name, understandable. I appreciate the openness and understanding.

    Cheers!

At regular liquor stores who carry PW's I know the MSRP was $14.99. I don't recall if that's what I paid at Binnys as well or if it was $13.99...

Thanks for the info. Paid $15.99 (with no price sticker) up at Evanston 1st which is notorious for price gouging, so I wanted to double check.

Will most likely be at the buffalo grove Binny's saturday. Any chance of As You Wish, or any of the other recently sought after beers (beer-d o's, over the line, etc) on the shelf?
