    Drinking this now, memorial beer for my dog who had to be put down today...

    This guy was the only true constant I had in my life for the last 10 years. He's had cancer since January, so we are fortunate he made it this long. He took a turn for the worse on Friday, when he fell over walking. Cubby got real weak the last two days, and today we knew it was time. He couldn't get up to go to the bathroom, eat, even drink. Sucks, nothing can prepare you for this. My heart hurts.
    With all of that being said, this guy had a great life. My friend found him on the side of the road in '04, he ran in her car, I met this guy, and that was that. I took him in because she was moving to Austin, and never found his owners. I cant even tell you how many hikes we've done together, how many rivers, streams, lakes he's been swimming in. He even climbed a few 14ers, thanks mostly to my girlfriend who took him on many adventures. And his favorite thing was car rides. We took our last one today.

    Cant be as bad as season 3. At least the wife will sit and watch it with me (speaks volumes) and she hates horror stuff. My 7 year old daughter on the other hand is daddy's girl. Here is us getting into decorations boxes the other day. [​IMG]
