I bought a growler of this from the Stone store in SD yesterday. I'm not going to get into the whole "is it different every time" debate. Big time dankness! It's the first time I've had it this fresh. Outstanding!

I'm sorry I just don't think that every Enjoy By release needs its own thread. No offense.

November 2013 Enjoy By was the most garlicy danky beer I ever drank. I hope this one is on par.

Definitely not as onion/garlic strong as I've had. It seems a little scaled back. I bought a bomber too. It'll be interesting to see if there's a difference.

I usually find the draft versions superior in aroma in comparison to the bottled versions. Both are still good, but drinking it from a keg just seems fresher.

Drinking this from a bomber... Best Enjoy by I've had by quite a while... Very tropical and juicy without that burnt rubber character that can be derived from immense dry hopping schedules. Fantastic.

Out of curiosity what was your mindset entering into this thread? I realize New Mexico is probably a boring place but you entered into a conversation with an obvious title to complain that each release does not need a new thread. What's the point?

Just cracked open a bomber. Probably my favorite rendition so far. Aroma might be the best I've smelled in a beer. Huge tropical fruit/citrus qualities. A blast of candied hop flavor. Very dank indeed. This is the smoothest and most enjoyable Enjoy By so far. Usually the bitterness is just a little too much, but this one is almost perfect.

Finally, the perfect beer. I think it's great; my wife tastes it and declares, "Too bitter!" More for me!

Was at a bar the other night with a couple friends, taplist was not great so I ordered a Stone IPA and they all ordered other drinks. The waitress says "We have another Stone IPA in a bottle called Enjoy by for $9."

We all cancelled our other orders and got 4 bombers of Enjoy By.

Stone got some smart marketing peeps working for them. What they've done is to follow through on the 'product differentiation' concept really well and have able to take over from competitors in the market and made us talk about the beers as something very different from itself.

@Zhiguli Enjoy By won a blind DIPA tasting with my friends and I, many of whom are 2nd level Cicerones. The beer is great on its own, all marketing aside. It's just that Stone has the power and technology to make a large quantity of world class beer that gets to the market as fresh as possible. No one else is currently pulling off this quality on this scale.

Did you read my post as a criticism of Enjoy By? I'd like to ask you to re-read if so. I buy every release that comes out. I prefer the showers but like you said it's a much smaller production

@Zhiguli I see your point. I happen to be an extreme cheapskate and I find fresh Enjoy By @'$6.99 to be a better value than the Shower series @ $8.99+. I'm sure certain Shower releases > Enjoy By, but again it's hard to beat Enjoy By value for what you get.
