So... with this math, by 5AM there were already 321 people in line, they all bought the FULL 2 case allotment of BBPt5 and each spent a minimum of $260? That seems hard to believe...

I can verify that I arrived and was in line at 4:10 AM and was in the 320s - I think starting around the 390s is where folks started getting shut out.

Read about it for yourself. Posts will verify there were damn near 200 people in line by midnight. Par for the course for releases nowadays.

 

Think that is why I will just plan on hitting up the parties on Friday and Saturday and drink my fill of BB plead for the year in one night!

Don't bring a bottle opener. 4 guys got in line right before I did. They have two boxes of bombers and none of them had a bottle opener. I was in the right place at the right time.

Last year was crazy and that's before the TV show and, what, 18 inches of snow. I missed the duck nuts but those kangaroo burgers were mighty tasty.

Why speculate on line up times there has been no formal announcement and for all we know they may change up the format this year. Possibly ticketed??

 

I doubt they change the format to ticketed(which i would assume means a commission to the ticket service) and have it cut into the over $125,000 in bottle sales they get that day.

If they expand someday and end up bottling 3-4x as much, I could see a ticketed release.

 

I messaged Bells on FB to get a confirmation on a date, and they said Eccentric Day is on Dec 5th. It used to always be on the 1st Friday in Dec, at least that is what I remember.
