Sold just for the Coffee stout & porter alone, I'm ok w/Celebration sold separately, let's face it the amount in the mixer is not enough to satisfy what a 12 pack can. As for the fall mixer the Vienna is REALLY good I like it more than the Oktoberfest & the Tumbler is a top 5 American Brown ale for me, I'd bought the fall mixer for that alone.

So the coffee stout in this year's winter sampler has lactose, you're saying? Because... oh man... I can't wait...

If I had my way it would be the Fall Pack that would be hitting shelves now and the Snow Pack to start the new year. Unfortunately we live in a time in which Christmas themed items start arriving in stores in early October.

I haven't seen Narwhal in CT as of yet. I'll check this week when I get the chance. I have a bit of homebrewed pumpkin ale to finish up by halloween. That keg will be replaced with Celebration asap!

On their website it says it'll be available in January 2015 - Perfect timing for winter!

The coffee stout is legit. Non-imperial version of Peche Mortel. Loved it. Boomerang is solid, but one of the lighter IPAs I've had in a while. Great pack overall, but the coffee stout is phenomenal.

Your thought process will be echoed here but SN hopes that non craft beer geeks will buy the sample pack do to the holidays and then end up liking and buying a regular shelved beer in their lineup...marketing and genius.

The Fall Pack is awesome, and I'm going to buy the Winter Pack on my next trip to the big city. SN variety packs are not marketed to us, but we're the ones who enjoy it the most! Quadruple Cheers!:grinning:

That's great! Here in amish country it takes twice as long for everything to arrive. I'm only NOW getting Sixpoint Sensi Harvest when it was canned on 9/17. Same with SN.

This is a nice sampler. Better than Fall IMO. However, Pale Ale is still the best in the pack. lol

It came and sold out at Tampa TW. Got 2-12's. I have only tried the IPA so far. For some reason, I keep coming back to it.

Haven't seen in Charlotte yet. I'm guessing distributors and/or retailers are trying to sell through the rest of their Fall Packs first. I think they sold well but the last batch sent out is sitting around - too much of it at places like Harris Teeter & Total Wine.

Looking forward to the Winter Pack in the next week or so.

The coffee stout and IPA are both really good, and I haven't had the porter in a while so it's a nice refresher on a solid, but oft ignored beer.

For some reason the distributor of SN here is sitting on these even though TW and other places only have Pale Ale and Torpedo 12 packs in stock..making me ANGRY!
